FC won 2-0 against Chorley and are through to the playoff final, where we'll play Bradford Park Avenue, in Bradford, on Saturday.

Don't really follow FC but like many here, I look out for them. Are they favourites to be promoted?

Well FC finished 7th and only made the playoffs because of Northwich's relegation - which bumped FC up to 6th, add in that the game is in Bradford, and the bookies have Bradford at 4/6 or 8/13 and FC at 6/5 or 11/10 - so we are underdogs, but only marginally.

play off final has been a total farce police decide the cant cope with 2 games in Bradford on the same day police and council wanted to play behind closed doors then want to limit the total crowd to 1900 BPA ask for more tickets so council agree on 2000 BPA say they want only 600 tickets give the rest to FC council say no you have to split them 50/50 all this was decided on the Monday

Wednesday police decide to change their mind as they dont think they can cope with 2 games so decide the game has to be moved to the Sunday

Oh dear, losing finalists two years in a row.

We've put 10 past that lot this season, what would we have given to have a couple of those goals today rather than in the league?

Ah well, we'll be champions next year and that'll mean we'll start in the new ground in a new league!

Commiserations, met some top FC United fans when they came to Hednesford a few weeks ago. After our tonking in the semi-final was hoping you lot would do the job today.

Hopefully we're going head to head for the title next season.
