Not a chance! Anyone with any semblance of a jiu jitsu background will take him to the ground and have him tapping within 30 seconds. And that assuming he just doesn't have his legs kicked from underneath him.

Won't happen unless he stipulates that the martial must comply with Queensberry Rules. In other words, a boxing match in the Octagon.

Can't see it happening in MMA. I do think they'll rematch in boxing though unfortunately. They've both been talking about it for ages and even if they get half the amount they did last time it's still a shit load of money.

The videos are all one big advert for Paddy Power

He is a money machine. Two 10 seconds clips got everything thinking he is going to fight in the octagon, never happening. Just making a load of money for him and Paddy Power.

That being said, I would love to him get knocked out by a flying knee in the first 10 seconds, and see that little irish wanker chinned at the same time.

He’d never make it out of the first round. CM Punk vs Floyd Would be better and i’d Put Punk as the favourite on that one.

    Not exactly a bold pick favouring a 6ft 2 218lb wrestler to beat a 5ft 8 150lb boxer in an MMA bout!

Cm Punk fought at 170 for his last fight also it’s obviously hyperbole as in even CM Punk with his limited skill would beat Floyd even at the same weight.

Not a fan of Mayweather but even if he lost in MMA, won't ruin his boxing legacy, infact probably would get him more fans as people will think he has balls and if he managed to do the unthinkable and win, that would only make his legacy greater.

But yeah would probably get £100m or so, just depends if he wants to take a beating in the cage for £100m, probably doesn't need to as he can earn that in boxing, but yeah always risking his boxing legacy having 1 more fight in boxing.

I can see it happening for all the reasons i said above.

Won't happen. Floyd would make more money in the boxing ring and actually stands a chance of winning.

Anyone in the featherweight or lightweight divisions would destroy him. They would just need to remain outside of his boxing range and hit him with kicks until him crumbles and then ground and pound the shit out of him

He’d do worse in the octagon than McGregor did in the ring.

Aye, the nature of the two sports would make that a near certainty.

I think Floyd is going over if this happens. Guy has more creative control than Hogan in the 90s.

He's not going to the UFC. He just craves attention and he was retaliating to the GGG-Canelo re-match being made so wanted to steal the limelight. One of the reasons he pushed the McGregor fight into August (never a PPV month) was because GGG-Canelo got made otherwise he'd have fought McGregor a little later.

He'd be what, a lightweight? Please, please, please put him in with Khabib.

No way. Didn't he weigh 146lbs during the weigh in vs Conor?

I think he would be featherweight if he ever fought in UFC and would get destroyed by anyone who just decided to leg kick and grapple him.

    Will never happen

Yeah, won't happen but me enjoy the image of Khabib flattening that prick.
