    I find lots about football that I didn't previously know on a weekly basis. This thread is to share some of these things;

    To start things off, Clarence Seedorf is the current manager of Deportivo de La Coruna.

    What else have you guys got?

    Apparently Gattuso is doing very well at AC Milan. I haven't been paying attention to AC Milan for 3 years now.

    Isn't that like saying Allardyce is doing very well with Everton? Milan has spent more than 150m on players this season and are 7th.

    But Gattuso didn't start the season at Milan though. He came in after Montella (?) was fired.

    When he arrived, Milan were significantly behind Roma, Inter and Lazio. The general consensus was that they needed to focus on the Europa League and Coppa Italia as it looked certain they would finish 6th or 7th. After beating Roma last week though, they now have a real chance for competing in the top four. If they beat Inter this weekend, they are 4 points behind them which is quite the comeback. Generally though, I agree, Milan underperformed this season especially compared to the likes of Napoli, Roma and Lazio.

    Haven't they gone like the last 13 or something unbeaten after having a pretty poor start to the season. They are only 8 points off Champions League too.

    "Only" after having spent 100m more than teams above them. At least Everton weren't a big club before and they're spending is comparable to United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and to a lesser extent City whereas Milan are in a different league than the rest of the teams bar Juventus (still way higher than them even). Milan are Chelsea in 2003 but in 7th place. Wouldn't call that very well. The bare minimum I'd expect as a fan would be a CL spot, not do as well as last season.
