Poor Gaz, I bet he's been taken back to the days of that interview where Ronaldo had to translate in English for him.

Look at him step back when he has to ask Mancini a Question. Chicken shit

Roy Keane was right about Neville. Weak at the knees when asked to stand up.

Ironically enough he's like Gary Neville on here in that he's trying to carry on despite being past it.

Not doing anything - Its well documented I think Gary Neville is a Twat. Personally Cost us about 5 times in Europe. He was not all that.

Look up what Roy Keane said about him

So you let your hate of him cloud your judgement of him as a pundit? He was very good.

Best right back in English football for about a decade. I can never understand how people didn't rate Gary Neville. I know a few people who are United fans but didn't think he was all that.

Honestly don't know what they were thinking.

He did bloody well last night. Considering the amount of questions that Ed Chamberlin spontaneously threw at him, and that his primary job was a football, and he's never trained to be a pundit.

Roy Keane was a great player, but also a angry drunk that talks a lot of shite.

Neville was a fantastic defender and one of the top few right backs of his generation.

you can bet Gary was practicing all summer long with a big screen in his room, thought he was very good and as my Arseanl supporting brother said who hates Gary with a passion at least he has been there and won it all unlike some sky presenters!

Surely he's got enough money to afford a decent hair dresser.

A lot of Scousers are begrudgingly admitting they admire he has been neutral so far in his comments of them ie "Liverpool were the better side today".

I doubt they would have felt the same if Liverpool had lost today however.

Tbh I think he is the most neutral pundit there.

Hasn't really shown any bias/unbias like the other blatant idiots there.

It was quite odd how he started smirking when they mentioned the Nasri deal breaking down and asked "Why is that?"

    I thought that too.

Got to be fair to him though, he's already done City and Liverpool this season and has been totally unbiased, unlike most pundits.

I think the Scousers big fear is that he would be like most scouse commentators (ignoring the dull lot at MOTD and Jamie Redknapp) such as Micky Quinn and co. He's just telling it like it is for now although it has been easy for him given the easy wins for City and Liverpool.

I think he's done a great job and seems to have taken Jamie's spot of being the guy on the most matches.
