Well we've pretty much went and done it. It's in City's hands now
How the feck is it in Cities hands? We're leading by 5 points and and still a game to play at wastelands. It's all in our fecking hands and has been since we took the lead in the race.
No it's not. It's still in our hands, clearly, because we are six points ahead and still have to play them. We will win it.
Watch City slip up now.
They win the rest of their games and they win the league. We were 8 clear 2 weeks ago, now will most likely be 3 clear at the end of the day with them well ahead on goal difference.
City win every game and they likely win the league on goal difference
we are still five points ahead.
manchester city hasnt win their game yet
and even if they do, they still have to beat us, because, with a tie, we get our 20th
No way, Wolves are fecking shite. If City stuff up it will be worse than what we offered up tonight.
They're six points behind, get a grip.
Means feck all. In City's hands too, and they have the game at home. From a pure neutral point of view, its advantage City.
We've each got a hand on it, clearly. The fact we only need a draw at their stadium cancels out their home advantage, so imo it's 50/50.
I am not having people painting today into a "it doesn't matter" result.
We have had the wind knocked from our sails whilst City are flying.
I am starting to worry.
They will be favourites that's for sure. Knee jerk thread perhaps but blowing a 2 goal lead twice in the same game is shocking. They will be full of confidence now.
Six points. And no a draw at City wouldn't get us anything.
fecking hell, you can say the exact same for us. If we win the rest of our games, we win the league. Just get a grip and have some faith, City have "thrown away the league" more times this season than we have but people seem to have forgotten that.
Woe, woe and thrice woe....
It's also in our hands.
We'll get something next week. Think we'll still win it.
yes! my bad, well, better so
1. Manchester United 34, 73
2. Chelsea 34, 67
Manchester United 0 - 1 Arsenal
Chelsea 2 - 1 Tottenham
1. Manchester United 35, 73
2. Chelsea 35, 70
Manchester United 2 - 1 Chelsea
1. Manchester United 36, 76
2. Chelsea 36, 70
United do not do anything the easy way.
The Caf in overreacting to dropped points shocker.
You'd think City just clinched the title. Grow a pair, people.
We seem determined to drag Man City back into contention. It's infuriating how things have turned out this way. The players have great character but also get so complacent it's untrue.
We better be fired up for the next game now.
Of course we can get something, but we were leading by 2 goals twice in this game. Should have been over and then City would need us to drop more points than a defeat at the Etihad. Massive blow this
Pathetic, City have a decent/great chance of winning the title. The players have let SAF down big time today.
Of course it matters, we would like to have it tied up by now but come on, even SAF said he expects to drop points along the way. If we keep doing what we have been doing all season and concentrate on our own game instead of what City are doing, we can still win the league. I'm shocked at how people on this forum can sit and watch the most successful English club in the last 20 years, a club that has won 12 titles in those same 20 years, and essentially call us bottlers. It's flabbergasting.
I remember how people were afraid chelsea will demolish us but then we took the very early lead.
how is it in Citys hands we are 6 points in front , it is in OUR hands , win all our games and feck what City do.
There is dropping points then there is doing what we done today, something that just shouldn't have happened. I can accept the Wigan result because we were dire that night and deserved absolutely nothing but today at 4-2 we all thought it was over, then concede 2 goals in 2 minutes.
Personally I was terrified after the under performance away to Arsenal, a ground we had had a lot more luck previously. Then Hernandez scored in seconds and we scored from a corner.
We bottled it today though which ever way you look at it and matters were not helped by Fergie's baffling substitution.
Forget about what this means for the title race, we shouldn't be conceding 4 goals at home. Period!
You'll regret this thread
Havent thrown it away but now, we must absolutely get points at etihad. dont see city dropping points elsewhere if am honest. they'l ride the wave of the recent momentum swing.
Not all rosey for City either, to be fair they have to beat us, and they also face an inform Newcastle away chasing a title in being the Champions League.
You think it's overreacting? We lost a 4-2 lead. With ten minutes to go. At home.
I hope so, but what happened out there today could well cost us dearly. It seems neither us or City want this league title, but now they have found form when it looked like it was all over a couple of weeks back.
This day, this thread and the reaction on here have all to make this day special and see City lose/draw at Wolves today.
