If we could have a true marvel in any position in our 1st XI, what would you choose?

No moaning about they'd just turn to crap in our team anyway and the rest of it; simply, the guy will come in and play like a superstar, no ifs or buts.

Where on the pitch would you like to see this footballing unicorn?

Striker. We're sorely lacking a quality one. We need a goal machine. It would make a huge difference to our team.

Striker. There are so few good ones out there these days. Every young wanker wants to be a wide forward or play as a 10.

More than anything we desperately need a true Leader. Someone who leads by example and demands maximum performances from the rest of the team.

    Charming!

I would love to see us with a proper striker. RVN, RVP 1st season class. It feels like it's been forever since we've had a world class striker at the top of his game.

Striker. I assume by true marvel you mean like an R9 type of player? A player like that would transform the whole team.

RvP in Fergusons last season won us the league. So someone like him.

Someone who could reliable cross, dead ball expert, long range shooting. He'd be a perfect compliment to Lukaku an offer a different type of attacking varient from Rashford and Martial on the left to give the team more options going forward :D

Always centre forward. A 40 goal a season striker covers all manner of deficiencies.

Deschamps? Bit of an odd choice. He was a good player but Pirlo would be one that would immediately stand out in that role for me far ahead of Deschamps.

I think we really lack a good central defender, we lack a controlling midfielder, a right sided midfielder and as much as I like Lukaku, a consistent big game goal scoring striker. That's four positions so I guess I'll narrow it down to if we got something world class, like genuine all-time great I'd probably pick a midfielder because if we can control games and keep the ball we won't concede so much possession and so many chances and will have more space for the likes of Lukaku, Martial, Sanchez etc; to work.

I'd say a Xavi or a Modric. I think we'd just need a DM to "do a job" with a midfield with Xavi and Pogba in it.

Pirlo and Pogna won't work well together. Deschamps is a master at snuffing out attacks and has enough passing range to keep the attack ticking with quick short passes.

Pirlo needs workhorses like Gattuso and Seedorf to cover and do the dirty work and neither Pogba nor Herrera will fit that role.

Deschamps will fit in like a glove and immediately improve the entire team.

Pirlo and Pogba worked really well together at Juventus and that was a younger, more inexperienced Pogba and an older perhaps past prime Pirlo.

    Eh ?! Pirlo-Pogba-Vidal combo at Juve ?

Late edit : Also thinking about it, our best midfield combination since we got Pogba was Carrick-Herrera-Pogba, and they're all players of same category as Pirlo and Vidal but of course lower in quality. The combination just seems to have everything.
