i know a load of people with the same problem, also its all over the net
It's ace. Whenever I read about something worth watching in the paper or someone mentions something good, I can record it straight away without having to remember it until I get home.
Also saved my arse with MOTD a few times, when Saturday afternoon down the pub blurred into Saturday night.
Use a custom ring tone. You can get 'em on a podcast for free. Mine's loud as feck.
I still like my iphone. The only thing that is pissing me off lately is that I can not connect to my work server to get my email.
One more thing - do they scratch easily? What’s a good case to get for one - preferably one that isn’t too bulky.
What are some of the best apps to download? I have the majority of the best free ones. A few decent ones that I have paid for.
The Agent 18 cases are great. Keeps it as good as new.
Hopefully will be picking mine up tommorrow, 16gb, 34 quid a month, 700 mins, unlimited texts and unlimited internet.
I got this one:
I refuse to pay for them on principle. Freebies only.
"TV Plus" is great. I also use "IFooty", "Trace" and "Shazam".
What would you recommend?
best phone ever made. its not just a phone and it really has changed everything,
even more so now i have found that you can watch porn over the internet on it
The principle of being too tight to pay a couple of quid for some shitty game I'll get bored of in a few weeks anyway.
All the best apps are free as far as I can work out anyway.
units is good, but depends what you want for the rest. there is movies my rail lite and wikipanion that are good
and as for games, i have loads but the best are sol free, done drinkin, space monkey, labyrinth and tap defence
But surely if there's a useful app that will help you no end, it'd be worth putting your hand in your pocket? After all, someone had to build it.
iphone is for twats who know shit.
im buying this next.
Then, presumably, htc is for twats who don't know shit.
Had a play round with their last "iPhone killer". UI was a heap of steaming shite.
IMHO of course.
The only apps I've discovered that come close to that description are free.
It's only a phone for fuck's sake.
You're posting on an internet forum, Spoons, this place is bound to be crawling with geeky blokes who love gadgets.
Like me, for example.
weaste come to mind
I'm past caring. My current phone has fallen to bits, and I'll probably replace it with a 6300(Nokia). Not that I'm arsed mind. I just want a smallish one that I can use to make calls. That's it really.
units is a converter
converts everything from weight currency(automatically updates the rate)
to volumetric flow. its realy good
Aye, me too. I have a Sony Ericsson 800(?), and it's the balls. The most reliable phone I've ever had-good volume, good sound quality, and the battery lasts about 4 days for me with everyday use.
I spend an hour commuting every day so it's good to have something to fuck about on to pass the time.
Ive been looking at phones for the past 3 weeks to figure out whats best. I decided on the Iphone, then changed my mind to the google one, then the HTC and back to the iphone after reading everything about them on the net.
So im going to go for the iphone. However, i believe a 32gb model with a new type of battery that will add alot more power is not far off now. Most people was expecting it to come out at the macworld show last week, but it didnt and people was left shocked. But the iphone 16gb came out about 1 month after the show last year. So im going to hang on one extra month and see what happens. In my heart, i feel it will be the end of Feb it comes out, if not then, possibly the next macworld show next year.
you obviously haven't read the correct reviews
HTC sucks arse
If its not Sony, hes not interested.
So your that c*nt on the tube?
Games-wise, I find Topple, Tap Tap Revenge, Done Drinkin, SpinLite and Keep it up to be good fun, all free too.
Utilities wise I've got the usual, Google Earth, Facebook, Shazam, Flashlight (which came in handy at the weekend when I dropped some money under the table at the pub)
Technically, I'm the c*nt that's 10 minutes on the Tube, 30 minutes on the train and 20 minutes on foot.
I should probably move house
I have started working at another site for a few months so i have to travel about an hour across London. Pain in the ass.
So im hoping that watching stuff on the iphone will help ease the boredom.
Won't be quite as handy for you on t'underground, cause you can't access the web. I'm posting this from the 1717h train from Maidenhead to London Paddington. Nice.
Ive had mine for just over a month. And I am still very much in love with my Iphone. I literally find out something new to do with it everyday. 3G is great, fast and picture quality is amazing.
Could not recommend the iPhone highly enough.
As for application, my new favourite is PhotoSwap. Completely free, you just take a random photo of where you are, and get a completely random one in return, from someone, anywhere in the world, taken withing 10 seconds of yours.
Sure, you do get a large amount of feet, walls and laps, but I have had car accidents, attractive lady folk drinking beer, a man show me his collection of guitars (you can reply to people who send you a picture, and they can then return to this, apart from that there is no way of getting your number or any information), and a photo of Old Trafford (East Stand) yesterday half an hour before the game started. Extremely addictive - have a go if you have got an iPhone.
Sounds cool Muller, I should check it out.
We should make an iPhone App reccomendation thread in the Entertainment forum
I'm looking to upgrade from this:
Or maybe this:
PhotoSwap, I've so far received one image of a couch, one of some food and two of mens crotches
