There are obvious examples of this with Rees-Mogg or George Galloway, but can you come up with any exceptions, male or female?

Looking for your examples of a politician that could actually make it in Showbiz, either through their particular talent or their film star good looks.

Also want your examples of politicians who do conform to this quote as either bad at showbiz or who could curdle milk with one look.

I'd watch The daily show presented by Obama.

Or Donald Trump as a contestant in Takeshi's castle.

In America it certainly seems much more personality led rather than policies. I don't think anybody would really describe Mrs May as being a sparkling or interesting personality - or Corbyn for that matter.

Too much politics is on tv these days!

These people are elected to serve the public not constantly appear on MSM every 5 fecking minutes!

Quite a few have been on Have I Got News For You and there are generally pretty good, including those who people generally don't like, like Rees-Mogg and Farage.
