2 goals conceded that would never happen with Koulibaly playing. Napoli will finish second fairly comfortably, they should really have a good go at the Europa League this season.

Milik with another two goals tonight, I'm delighted with him given I was 100% sure his career is over after his second consecutive ACL. Oh how wrong I was. Polish strikers are fecking up Serie A by the looks of it.

Searched the thread for Piatek & surprised not to see much fanfare. Do his stats flatter him, or is he really playing well? (19 goals/1 assist in 21 apps).

Asking because I've not watched Genoa this season.

Keep forgetting Samu plays for Milan now, enjoyed watching him and Fornals play for Villareal last few seasons.

He had an insane streak at the start of the season but slowed down a bit since. He's prety good but he's more of a Milik than a Lewandowski.

You can tell the relief in the celebrations. Big goal for Higuain and for Milan

Seems a bit presumptious. He’s 23. Lewandowski at that age was just breaking through to Dortmund’s starting line-up. How can you tell already that Piatek is more of a Milik than a Lewandowski? Could you tell in 2010 that Lewandowski was going to be one of the best strikers in the world?

No, but I didn't watch him play before Dortmund. It wasn't meant as an insult, Milik is a great striker.

I've watched Piatek play and he's very good, but I don't think he has the tools to become the best striker in the world at one point. Obviously he might have a crazy development from here on out, I just don't think it's going to happen.

Milik looks back to a good level after 2 bad knee injuries. He has saved Napoli's ass many times in the last month.

Exactly because that's what the rules days, if a defender touches the ball even deviating it but not voluntarily passing it then that touch doesn't cancel the offside and that was exactly the case in point yesterday. The only exception to this rule is when a defender is saving a ball from entering the goal , in that case regardless of whether he passes it or not three attacking player is not offside any more.

I agree on the issue of not going too far back but there is no easy solution

If juve wasn't juve I would really be worried about Napoli this year, they are playing really bad (except in cl) and managed to win tons of points in the last 5-10 mins of the games. If matches ended at 85th Napoli would be 20 points behind. That's normally worrying because of they stay playing better they can further improve. Milk is a good pairpl but doesn't really weighs in big games

Thought this was Seria A given you had Samp-Ac Milan earlier. Was actually wondering if I missed Novara being promoted when I saw they were playing Lazio earlier.

Is Seria A finishing in June or are they just putting in loads of midweek fixtures?

Another win, but we are just cruising in second gear. It is boring but effective. Hopefully, we leave the best for the big games.

Inter having some fun with the poor Benevento. Played a pretty strong team and beat them 6-2. Lautaro Martinez starting to show his potential.

Proper blast from the past tonight seeing Prince-Boateng playing for Sassuolo, haven't seen his name in years.

Also 1-1 between Sassuolo and Napoli for anyone interested.

EDIT: never mind, been very harshly disallowed for a handball. Certainly wasn't clear and obvious.

He is a fighter. Certainly a good player but the price is crazy. No international experience. Never played in an important side. For this money you can sign other players with more experience and better technical skills.

In this game many big names were on the bench. Allegri certainly wanted to keep them resting to use them wednesday against AC Milan in the Italian Supercup. For Spinazzola it has been the first official match after a bad injury and for Can and Khedira we can say quite the same thing, because they missed many matches in the 1st half of this season. Kean is a little boy (18 years) with a big potential but no experience. It would have been strange to cruise in 5th gear after the pause. I hope they are focused on the next match, much more important than this.

It was clear and obvious that they scored against Napoli. This is hardly allowable.

Oh I am well aware of the circumstances in this match. My post was not just based on this match. It's been a frequent impression.

Another away win for Parma. Gervinho with a decisive solo goal. Roma win as well.
