    I don't understand football fans.
Cardiff City fans were clapping him off for two awful challenges this evening.
Players get more stick for diving than for dangerous tackles.
The cnut could have broken Sane's leg and all we would hear is he didn't mean it.

Pep has said he fears Sane will be out for months! Disgrace. Cloggers like this don't belong in football. A wannabe hard man nothing more than a thug and a bog average footballer. his tackle on Diaz at the end was a disgrace too.

Throw the book at him and give him a lengthy ban.

You don't understand football? Football is tribal. Supporter would naturally root for their team in case the consequence ain't outright clear. You can get injured, broken leg by pure accident while some nasty challenge wouldn't break someone's leg. You can't go condemn every tacklers, tackles. In this certain however Warnock team is condemned as a whole, a bunch of cnuts. It's nothing to do with football in general.

Diving is mostly intentional so it's more condenmed rightfully. Two wrong don't make one right.

Roy Keane got a standing ovation when he lynched Haaland.

To be fair in that case the tackle didn't do any damage to Haaland.

Generally it's something all home fans do to a player when they get sent off for some reason.

Can only think Cardiff fans thought he put great effort into the game and they applauded him off for that like you do when a sub goes off.

For people who remember Dublin headbutting Savage, everyone around me that mad night gave him a standing ovation as he walked off the pitch.

I had my head in my heads as I knew at that moment he'd cost us the game.

Football fans are hypocrites. We're all guilty of praising our own players for something that we'd criticise an opposition player for.

Looks like Sane is facing some weeks on the sideline. Hopefully he doesn't miss the Cup Final. I hope Bennett is proud of himself.

I dunno. To be honest I only posted that to see if someone would still try to perpetuate the myth that Keane ended Haaland's career :p

Believe that when you see it.

edit: he actually said he could be out 'for up to a month' so probably not out for very long at all.

    Didn't see the second tackle.

The first just looked like a last ditch tactical foul at first.

I don't think there's anything I hate more in football than a shit player who tries to close the gap between himself and better players by trying to injure them. Kevin Muscat, Michael Brown and Charlie Adam are the worst culprits I can think of.

We had this debate in the 'hardmen' thread the past couple of days. The wankers should get 6+ games for these shithouse tackles. Absolutely nothing 'hard' about them whatsoever.

It’s a wide gap but that Yeovil fella on Sanchez had no intention of playing the ball.

The fact that Pep is exaggerating the extent of the injury doesn't make Bennett's behaviour any better.

Just seen the tackle. Horrendous. Shocking decision not to send him off.

Terrible tackle, clearly just looking to take the man out of the equation. Should have been sent off.

I didn't see the second yellow but his foul on Sané was disgraceful, 'tackles' like that deserve long-term bans.

It is quite strange that a player can get a 6 match ban for say spitting in the vague direction of someone, yet some appalling foul that can smash someone up is limited at 3, and it takes something like Thatcher's fore arm smash putting someone unconscious to get anything higher.

Actually just seen the tackle, whether or not he did it on purpose, it's a vile tackle.

Just saw the "tackle", clear red card and Sane is sort of lucky it didn't end up worse.
