Why not for which one?
Shame about the white stripe but looks awesome apart from that.
I dont know what more surprise between people hate that colab or people dont know jumpman/Jordan Brand is
I know who Jordan is and recognise the logo, I didn't know it was called jumpan though.
Add that to initially reading it as a person Jordan Brand and the article was confusing as feck. Made more sense once it clicked and I read it again.
Still, looks weird on football kits and American football boots imo, what's wrong with the Nike logo? They can think they'll sell more just because of this jumpman thing.
well the jumpman logo is its own brand within Nike. So I get the logo, but unfortunately my personal preference I'm not keen on it. I collect trainers and a big fan of the Nike and Jumpman brand. Just not here tho. Jumpman and off-white all day long or parra or any of their special collabs.
The Monstars were robbed.
All about corporate synergy. PSG wants to do well with urban fans in the USA, this will do that. Really wish someone would stand up and say no due to the evil empire they have backing all this...
Literally sums up everything wrong with football right now.
Why shouldn't Basketball and Football mix.
Jordan was actually really pretty before all of the surgery
Yeah, but you still would though.
I don't like PSG since they've become a pet project of the Qatari regime, but that's a cool looking kit. If they can keep hold of Mbappé and get a CL, they can get get a big time world following pretty fast.
The Air Jordan V PSG are amazing, Shame they sold out in minutes.
How long til Chevy are gone again? Now friends send me pictures of urine soaked Kohler logos in their natural element. I want to want a United kit again.
Maybe you misunderstood. I didn't say it shouldn't or didn't mean it shouldn't. My personal preference is that I didn't like it. I love both sports, especially the Jordan brand as that's what I mainly collect. I've looked at the collaborations Jordan has done with American Football and Baseball sneakers and have never liked them. For me the Jumpmans are really prestigious and I just didn't like it. Maybe if it was with Man U, I'd be like, "Sick" but I guess its beacuse they did it with PSG

The range is available on kitbag. I've just ordered the black shirt - a one off.
I was in the PSG club shop a few months ago - they've got a lot of collaborations with different manufacturers. The levi's denim jacket is nice but at 150 euros, it's a no from me!
I like the white one a lot
The idea of wearing the shirt of a team I don't support is boderline absurd.
So PSG are now working with Russell's uncle? Who would have known.
I misread even more than everyone else and wondered why Jo Brand is connected with PSG.
Nah, it's perfectly rational. "I'm going to buy this shirt of a football team I don't support because they've put a silhouette of a bloke playing a completely different sport on it"
In fact, if MSV Duisburg ever have a depiction of someone playing crown green bowls on their kit I'm buying it. I really hope they do it one day.
I can't understand any of it. Why is it called Jordan Brand ? How is it different from other shirts? Confusing as feck.
Are mfers seriously confused? They made something that young people want and sold out of it ridiculously fast.
You know the Jordan here refers to MJ? Why is he a bellend?
It's not. It's called air Jordan. All of this jumpman and Jordan brand nonsense must be a translation thing or the writer putting his own description or maybe the trade name they use in France
I'm more surprised how little people know of Jordan (basketball's greatest). Reminds me when I was on a basketball forum and people legit asked who 'Leonardo Messi' was. Europe and USA really are on different planets when it comes to sports
Just read Jordan Rules or When Nothing Else Matters.
Haven't read the books but know Jordan's full story very well. Everything written about Jordan in print is also on film. Know he was far from the saint he was painted to be in the 90s but never got the feeling of him being a bellend. Why I asked which actions exactly made him describe him a bellend in the same breath as Neymar
Jordan brand should have nothing to do with football.
Obviously I know Jordan. The article just made no sense whatsoever and didn't explain anything properly. Next question, what is the big deal? The shirt in the pics look like a normal footy shirt?
I think it's USA and the rest of the world that are on different planets actually.
Air Jordan is not the name of the brand.
The Jumpman is the logo of the Jordan brand, which is also know as Brand Jordan.
The Air Jordan is the shoe MJ wore during his career - and is still being made with the new one released each year on his birthday.
Meh, it's all Nike anyway.
@swooshboy is that where you get your name from, the Nike swoosh?
Yep - I worked for them for 12 years inthe UK and The Netherlands before I left to do graphic design freelance. Still fully brand loyal (and have the tattoo to prove it!).
I also own every book on Nike and Michael Jordan - so am pretty sad on that front
Is that only for the shoes or the whole apparel ?
TIL jumpman is the logo name. Air Jordan is a product line (shoes plus clothing) rather than a single shoe
Air Jordan is not a product line - It was the name of his first shoe and his nickname.
The footwear, apparel and equipment fall under Jordan Brand.
From the wiki
"Air Jordan is a brand of basketball shoes and athletic clothing produced by Nike"
Product type Footwear, clothing
Other shoes from the Air Jordan line: "Spizike, Defining Moments II",
Jordan Son of Mars edition", The "Jordan Son of Mars" is an Air Jordan hybrid shoe,
The Nike website also has on sale Jerseys including the Air Jordan 5 legacy.
It's more than a single shoe under the Jordan brand.
I said that it was overall known as Jordan Brand - not Air Jordan.
You claimed it was not Jordan Brand.
Also, when the new season is presented to the sports accounts, it is not presented as an “Air Jordan” line.
Separate names with a comma.
