So what was he doing there?

    Scouting Rooney?
Seeing if City really are our main title rivals? Looking for weaknesses in City already (even though we don't play them till December)? Looking for weaknesses in Everton who we play next month? Scouting a player? Or maybe he was bored and decided some comedy would cheer him up?

Just watching two teams that we'll be playing this season as he had the evening off and lives in Manchester...

Don't be silly. There's clearly some convoluted plan at place here.

We have Everton in our next game after Leicester, so most likely scouting them.

We have them after Stoke. I think it is clear he is just watching both them and City for the future. Everton will probably have a similar approach when they play us as well so it is good for him to watch how they play.

Can we sack him already? Can't believe he is wasting the club's resources, travelling all the way to Manchester and living the life of leisure.

He was shining his laser pointer in Pep's face. It finally got to him when he went to shake Koeman's hand.

Everton are frustratingly stubborn. Koeman's approach managed to get him a point both last season and last night, so I think Jose's trying to decipher Ronald's tactics and how to beat them.
But yeah, the guy's "On Fire" and doesn't stop working. He had his coaching staff on his sides.

I knew it! He wants to continue Moyes' legacy of bidding for Everton players, this time it is Baines.

He told Pep he was going to gouge his eyes out. Pep heard he was in the stands so took off running after the final whistle.

I officially hate spell check.

Regarding Jose at Etihad, it was mastermind by SAF and Jose. First they show up, Pep finds about it, and decides to hide his tactics, Sane for exaple. In case of City playing good, SAF and Jose would so some very heavy woodoo. It was win win. For us.

Reminds me of the times when we'd see David Moyes traveling the world football stadiums 'scouting' players that we never signed.

If he was there trying to watch Pep's tactics, then he probably wouldn't have gotten much from the game because City went down a man pretty early and the tactics had to change.

I'm sure we scout hundreds of players we never sign. Not to defend Moyes, but he might not have liked what he saw, that's the point in scouting.
