So this is the best person they could select to be sacked at the end of the season? No one more sackable?

He won't survive even a full season. Will be sacked by December.

Must be paying him very well to walk away from the national team and become their patsy.

He has to deal with aging stars and sky high egos. I suppose Ramos will back him in the dressing room.

An overhaul is required and he won't even be able to focus until the world cup is over. Very much feels like he is just being brought in to keep the seat warm for the next guy.

Everything about him, he had Benfica and Sporting fans chanting for him to stay. Alienated key players like Quaresma and lost the dressing room while acting like he was a genius in the press conferences despite getting his tactics wrong very often.

He did a very good job with Spain's youth teams, did a very bad job with Porto and so far hasn't really done anything for Spain's national team... I have no idea how he's managed to get this job. Zidane completely fecked Madrid by leaving with such a short notice.

There were rumors some days ago about him.
Apparently Madrid players in the national team recommended him to Florentino.

Real would be better off if Perez took a long walk off a short pier.

This. Unless he pulls a del Bosque, he's going to be there a season or two while Guti/Raul/Xabi Alonso get more experience and take over the team down the line.

So Real have been speaking to the Spain manager when he should be concentrating on the World Cup. He better have a good one or he might be sacked before he even takes up his post.

Will they sack him before the start of the season if he has a disastrous world cup?
