With the rumours of an eventual Spurs exodus, you'd think if Kane was available we'd be one of the sides in there with a massive bid, even with Lukaku. How do you think we'd set up if we got signed Kane? Do you think it would even work (logic says it should, but you never know). Also, where do you fit in everyone else?
It'll never happen. As great as Kane is we have Martial and Rashford to focus on, who both have the talent to be up there with the best. With Kane and Lukaku in the same side, we would have to play 3-5-2 and Martial and Rashford wouldn't suit playing wide in that system. I think we function better as a team with 1 focal point (Lukaku).
They are made to be the main strikers so I don't see how they would work together. One of them would have to change his game too much for the other.
I'd sell lukaku for kane if we couldn't fit both in the same team & the latter wanted to join. Does it make sense? Probably not. but if I care or not is a complete different story.
Well, unless Levy breaks his wage structure it is going to happen. The likes of Kane and Dele Ali won’t accept playing for a pittance (compared to what they would get at top clubs) much longer I feel.
Also, I have no idea why people want to see Spurs lose their best players so bad. They are not even a rival. And if they leave it probably would not be to us.
De Gea Valencia - Jones - Lindelöf - Bailly - Shaw Rashford - Kane - Lukaku - Zlatan - Martial 5-5 formation
Yeah there is some people here who seem to hate Spurs more than Liverpool or City all because of a certain poster.
Kane will be the best striker around just as soon as Suarez and Lewandowski drop off. He'll surely go to Madrid to replace Benzema.
Could see real making a big offer for Kane in the summer... pay off a chunk of the stadium, not selling to a domestic rival and Kane gets to join arguably the world's best club and probably paid a fek ton of money to live in Madrid I can see Ali staying for a while actually
Make it into the old MW formation DDG Bailly Jones Valencia Lindelof Shaw Rashford Zlatan Martial Kane Lukaku Sorted!!!
Wouldn't work for me. Both of their talents lie in bundling the ball into the back of the net at an exceptional rate. You want someone that's quick footed and more precise with the ball at their feet for a second striker/cam.
Heard on Norwegian radio (P4) that Jomo was planning a bid, and play with them both up front. Aparantly a plan to get us back as an elite club in Europe. I do agree with most on here though, can't see how they would work together. Also think Rashford is a better partner for Lukaku, even though he might not be a better player.
Impossibile. I am always against playing with 2 CFs together. You always need a quick, with pace striker to create for the main striker.
That completely depends on playing style. Jose I think could make two big guys up top work. I actually thing a United team playing 442 or 352 could be quite scary. ------------DDG------------ ----Bailly---Jones---A/O---- Valencia--------------Young ------Hererra-Matic-------- -----------Pogba----------- -------Lukaku-Kane--------- Imho that would be a frightening team with some real talent on the bench when needed.
DDG Valencia Bailly Jones LB Matic Pogba Rashford Kane Lukaku Martial 424 - who really needs a midfield anyway....lol ---- Seriously though, we won't be buying Kane whilsts we have Lukaku.
It is going to be like this next summer: ------------DDG------------ ----Bailly---van Dijk---Rojo---- Valencia--------------A.Sandro ------Pogba-Matic-------- -----------Griezmann----------- -------Lukaku-Kane--------- Pretty decent side in my humble opinion.
We've missed the boat to sign Kane in my opinion. We could of probably got our hands on him in his breakout season for a similar amount as Lukaku, when people were questioning whether or not he was a one season wonder. It would be great to see Kane here but I can't see it happening, nor do I really think him and Lukaku would make a good partnership.
Im sure I made this thread quite recently doesnt seem to be a popular thought for some reason http://www.redcafe.net/threads/could-kane-and-lukaku-play-in-the-same-team.432742/
Don't we need 9 strikers? Make it happen Ed. Kane isn't leaving Spurs anytime soon, and if he does he's not going to join any other Premier League team
