The difference is that with Liverpool, it seemed like a fluke whereas when Barca meet Madrid, more often than not, they show they're better than them (home or away). It's slightly different to the Liverpool situation a few seasons ago

They only meet twice in the league fffs. A cup game isn't the same as a league game. Never mind a cup game that's a double charity shield.

And what's with the 8 times? You were counting to 5 but you throw in a scenario that hasn't happened to try and prove a ridiculous point?

How on earth would it be justifiable to win a league being 7-10 points behind one team. There's not an ounce of sense in this.

Barcelona have been unbelievably bad today. I don't think I've ever seen Barca play this badly under Pep.

Of course it is. I'm just using an example to prove a point.

If we win the title we'll be better than City, no matter how many times they beat us in matches between us.

Madrid won't care about losing both ties to the catalans if at the end of the season they get the title.I think Barca aren't even strong mentally to the one doing the chase.I see them focusing on the CL and win the Copa del Rey

Actually it was last season against Betis in the Copa. They had won the first leg 5-0 but they were still starting Pique, Mascherano, Xavi, Messi.

Valdes is a really poor keeper. How often does he make such shocking mistakes where he'll kick it straight to the opponents? 3-1 and game over you have to say.

What's wrong with Barca this year? They've dropped too many points against the poorer teams against whom they would usually win. Is it a lack of motivation from Barca or have the other teams been better and deserved their wins?

I think it's a lack of motivation really because Madrid beat absolutely everyone quite convincingly. Barca have been brilliant at home but just amazingly poor away.

Valdes is a top keeper...one game and your back to being shit again after years of great progression, good old football eh. All of the Spanish big 3 keepers are prone to clangers of games, but they are still brilliant...and De Gea will probably be similar in 5 years time.

If Barca are not having the best of seasons, then this was the wrong season to not make it through to the knock out rounds of the CL. They'll still be favorites to win that though.

Valdes is one of the best keepers around and mistakes are inevitable playing in such a high-risk passing game. Still, the fact he's one of the best keepers around says a lot about the lack of quality in that position. There's few (if any) really top class keepers around. I'd say Valdes is in that second tier along with Casillas and co.

Nice goal Tello. Draw seems the obvious result, wins me a nice £30.

Barca have just lost the hunger for the league after winning almost every match for several years. They're still capable the best football on a given day, but the league is a marathon and they haven't the will to do it. Real do, and they'll be worthy champions.

    He pushed the defender. Foul.

Barca hasn't lost the hunger. They've been at it all game. Their defense has just been poor and their players are having problems with their first touch in this weather.

Real Madrid are Champions in a couple of mins. Simply no way back for Barcelona in the league.

Jose will be the 1st Manager or Player to win the league in Spain, Italy and England

    I think

Real on the edges of their seats!

If Mourinho beats this Barca team in the league it will be as immense an accomplishment as anything he's done, imho.

So it's 10 points if Madrid win tomorrow. Wow.

    Barcelona's away record: 4-5-2.
