He was at Eibar for a few seasons.

Manucho was also at Rayo the other season. They also signed Franco Di Santo in the January window so they like collecting the long forgotten premier league non scoring strikers.

Nothing Barca could’ve done against that, beautiful strike from distance

Rayo is winning at Camp Nou then....

So frustrating following them this season. If they were a premier league team they'd be known as "game raising c***s" on here.

Should've beaten Barca at Vallacas (were 2-1 up with five minutes left before the Robbery) and only lost 1-0 at Real Madrid and home and away to Atletico.

Yet can't get even draw v likes of Girona, Leganes etc.

Raul De Tomas is class anyway. Said it loads of times but Madrid should've just made him reserve forward this season rather than likes of Mariano and Lucas Vazquez.

    Rayo awful defending crossses.

Still can't grumble with 1-1 at half time.

Rayo robbed at home vs Barcelona in the first round and now this

    Semedo with a Benfica special.

Week after week the big teams either drop points or win points thanks to refereeing mistakes. Not that it really matters this season but VAR hasn’t solved anything in Spain

You can record a Barca's game and then watch it for the whole season because it's always the same with them: start crap, concede 1/2 goal, then they come back without even looking great.

Huesca 1 up at Getafe, half time.

If they hold on they are level on points with Celta who are 17th.

This would be one of the stories of european football.

They had 8 points after 17 games going into the winner break so Huddersfield style season was expected.

Getafe win 2-1 and stay in 4th.
A 4 point gap between them and Alaves in 5th

Valencia are beyond a parody now.

Another draw. Wonder what the La Liga record in a season actually is.

Edit: Oh wait didn't realise it was still playing. Torres scored in 90th minute for them.

Totally lost track of when it kicked off, thought it was 3pm and assumed game was over. Typed into Girona into google and it came up as 2-2. Posted and the page immediately updated to 2-3 when I clicked back.

Good win for Valencia considering they were actually down to 10 men for last 15 minutes.

I think Barcelona will be found out in this UCL, yet again. First half vs Rayo was horrible.

Valverde needs to understand that the midfield has to be Busquets-Arthur-Rakitic unless injuries say otherwise.

And that is the midfield he starts...

What he needs to do is put Dembele in the right instead of the left. And put Semedo as RB instead of S.Roberto.

Only problem is that Messi can't play on the left. And Suárez plays better as CF.

    Semedo is not reliable.

Good day for Sevilla, 4-1 up. 13 minute hat trick for Ben Yedder.

Semedo is more reliable than S.Roberto. In fact Semedo is very good defending.

In big matches we play 4-4-2 with Suarez & Messi in the center, Rakitic on the right (kinda), and Dembele on the left. Valverde should swap the wings.

Is Isco injured? He didn’t even make the bench and Real are depleted.

Awful penalty. Valladolid blow a chance to go ahead.

And as always I type one thing and then another occurs, Valladolid in their next attack score!

Edit: Think VAR might rule this out actually, his leg looked offside.

No clue what's going on exactly, there are just problems with Isco and Solari. A new coach is coming soon, so Isco might stay I guess.

Another disallowed goal for Valladolid. Another correct call at least.

Hi longtime lurker first time poster.

I'd try Messi at the tip of a diamond behind Suarez and Dembele. Fullbacks provide the width

    You won't get relegated.
