Coming back from a long term injury getting match fit. Most clubs use the U23 games for it.

It's cute that he thinks he can act like a hard man while playing under 23's. I'd love to see him try that with players his own age on the pitch.

What is he doing? If you'd actually lost it and blown your top, surely you actually try to hit the player, what the hell was he trying to do?

Does the suspension count in the PL as well?
And if so, any chance of it being longer than your usual 3 match since that was borderline criminal behavior?

One of the commentators suggested subbing him off before the ref gave him the red card to get out of it

It doesnt. And dont be absurd, its a clear red card but theres nothing much in it, in fact its quite similar to Valencia on Sterling in an international match a while back.

What an idiot, probably end up getting longer than 3 games as well. He's just come back from a long injury, returns for one game and then is out again, returns and now does this shit. Perhaps he's got some personal issues we don't know about, strange to see him act like that at his age with a young player, its like watching a big brother play fight with his little brother but they always stop at hurting them.

The Tottenham-player jumped in front of him just as he was about to squeeze his hands. Never a red.

Hahaha Liverpool are just comedy genius right now. I love the way he just repeats “no no no no no no” like he knew it was going to happen or something. Quick sub him off before the ref finds his cards la!

His reaction to his manbun getting touched by a youth is appalling. Danny Ings walking him off the pitch is also laughable. Turds.

haha bullying under 23's, id like to see him try that on some of the other Spurs midfielders like Wanyama or Dembele.

I'm surprised he didn't try and roundhouse Cruyff-turn kick him.

I think even Harry Winks would have him. What a big man to pick on a 19 year old kid.....

100% a red card and ban but he lost his head because he was literally getting kicked all over the pitch for the whole game and got frustrated because he knows his world cup hopes are over if he gets injured again. Still though, lost his head and set an unacceptable example for the youngsters

That's some pent-up frustration being unleashed right there. I wonder what for? Personal problems or Liverpool problems?

Lallana didn't see him, the Spurs player clearly threw himself in his way.

That haircut and scruffy looking beard does nothing but make him look 10 years older. Enjoy the ban dipshit.
