This is right up there with the Tony Coton and Andy Goram signings.

How long is Romero out for? I figure Grant will get some minutes on tour at least.

Pffft, if we had any ambitiom we'd have signed Courtois or Allison.

Good for him to join a top club at this point in his career. If only to play a couple of games during his contract.

    Derby County legend.

Seriously though, he was pretty good for Derby and the best keeper in the Championship while at Burnley.

Shame that 2013/14 side messed up against QPR because he would've shown his quality a bit earlier than when he joined Stoke.

Kinda helps when you’re signing a 3rd choice goalkeeper

A little bit odd on the face of it, but a good move for our young keepers. Welcome to the club Lee.

3rd choice GK. Will only play in case of chaotic injury crisis, I guess.

Hope he's not just using us as a stepping stone to Real Madrid.

our new VDS. Will take De Gea's place after his weak world cup performance. Grant Grant he's our man, if he can't do it, no one can

I can't say I liked the idea of Pereira being our 2nd choice if Romero is out. He is one of our young players who I think should definitely be loaned.

This is an insurance buy. Let's hope we don't have to worry about who will fill in for De Gea.
