You wonder if Leeds had Peacock-Farrell been goal, they would have won
Mental to think Casilla played about 25 games for Real Madrid. He looked a competition winner for them.
Sad, would be great to see them keep it all together and have another go at it.
Good. Pity it's not league 2.
Why is it sad?
Have people forgotten they rivals. It’s another two games where the opposition will raise their game for the cup final. I’m glad they won’t be coming up.
Why are some Utd fans feeling sorry for fecking Leeds???!?!
So does Bielsa stay?
This. I couldn't be happier.
Really wanted them back, a proper team coming up for once, and a proper rival reignited.
Villa will have to do now.
Sad for Leeds.
.. Just kidding.
If scousers can now somehow feck up another CL final and Watford to steal the FA cup, this season wouldn’t be half as bad at the end.
No City can win the Cup. We don’t need to be starting our season in July.
I wanted Leeds to come up.
We’re not going to win anything for a while, may as well have another rivalry to look forward to twice a season.
Not sure why United fans don’t want them up. Another must-see fixture and a chance to beat them. Better than playing the likes of fecking Swansea and Cardiff. Zzzz
Well we can always throw Europa League away then altogether.
Haha such a tinpot club! Championship is the right place for them.
Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.
Just another team who will treat us as a cup final. Can't be arsed with that.
How about they're fecking horrible and it's hilarious seeing them bottle it and fail to get back up every year?
Leeds are hilarious. Tried every dirty trick they could to gain the upper hand against the opposition yet still fall short
Unfortunately that represents our current squad.
Sir Alex thrived off teams doing that, it’s in his book
Not entertaining for me
Would rather see us play them and have the opportunity to be the ones making them fail
Are there actual united supporters feeling sorry for Leeds?
Don't want a City double. I'd much rather Watford won then Spurs in the CL final.
Well it's your opinion.
I'd rather not have to listen to 2 hours of Munich chants every time we play them.
Their hatred for us is borderline psychopathic. Most horrible set of fans I've ever seen no way I want them up again.
I'm not sure a lot of Utd fans are aware of this but it's true.
Leeds fans fecking hate Utd. Much much more than City or Liverpool fans even. I never went to Elland Road but I've been to Utd Leeds at Old Trafford and it's just a nasty atmosphere.
What do you mean by "proper"?
Villa play decent football, got excellent away support, got the highest attendances in the Championship and don't spy on other teams.
And .... they're not Leeds.
Whats with the Leeds supporters here? Leeds should be where they are its their role in life.
All you said was spot on.
I think they might be screwed next season, have heard they may have taken a sh!t or bust approach this season and don't have the money to fund the club at the same level next season - their co-owner was certainly in tears in the executive "box" after Brentford turned them over 2-0 at the end of the season effectively ending automatic promotion hopes.
If your players give goals away like today you can be Guardiola and Arrigo Sacchi combined and you'd still lose
Too bad, I was looking forward to seeing our rivalry again in the PL
They have a hipsters favourite as manager.
We got beat by cardiff...
Also Swansea for the first few seasons in the prem atleast tried to play football. It’s when they started hiring any old manager that they became another team.
I thought I wanted to see Leeds come back up just to renew the rivalry until I discussed it with a mate who supported them who went on a rant about how they would take six easy points from us next season because we were cheating scum who had been found out at last.
We don't even beat those teams, so in our current state the last thing we want is another game raising team who will do whatever it takes to beat us.
Leeds choked so much that it was impossible go through. If you look their dominating almost every game and dropping so much points it would be strange if they managed to win play offs. Their only chance is if Bielsa stays, but the biggest mistake was getting Casilla and dropping that young goalie. That and having Bamford as no9 all the time when Roofe wasn't available. If Bielsa and Roofe go and Hernandez can't repeat this season performances, they will be closer to relegation than promotion zone. I don't know about financing, they shouldn't have huge wage bill. Also where was Alioski?
I don't really think facing another set of game raising cnuts during the time of our rebuild is a good idea.
and what makes Derby, Norwich or Sheffield United not "proper" teams? That nonsense is so weird.
Classic Leeds. The proper way to run a football club.
This is the main reason I didn’t want them up ,would prefer going to Pride Park or Villa Park any day of the week.
