Agreed mate, when we're relying on city to stop Liverpool from winning the league we've truly become a joke. If next season is too early to be challenging, then the season after at latest we need to be right up there.
Good point. Man. City gone off the boil but they are far from out of this title race. Like Liverpool they've got most of the hard away games out of the way. Need to get out of this malaise quickly though.
Honestly for me seeing Citeh winning anything is at least as bad as seeing Liverpool to lift something meaningful. The neighbors are just a cheque book club while the Scousers have constantly built something in recent years - so I am able to acknowledge that and if others think this is a reason to attack me than have fun!
Noone wins back to back leagues these days, and City are especially poor the second season. it just makes it laughable all that City are the best team ever nonsense, if they can't even get two in a row.
Some of you just don’t get it. Liverpool are by far and away our fiercest rivals. Man city mean nothing, they are inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. If you’re going to be a true UTD fan you fecking hate Liverpool, ridicule every thing they get wrong and pray to god that they never win anything, ever. Period.
City are just about done if they don't win their next two games. Which gives us a 4 month coronation of these cnuts,
Mcmanaman is reminiscent of one of them obnoxious 'fan zone' commentators, I'm watching the rest of this match on mute!. It's a testament to how irritating he is that I'm wishing it was Michael Owen instead. * Sorry I thought this was the weekend fixtures thread, I have both open on diffrent tabs.
They've absolutely ramped up the goals after "only" scoring 1 or 2 a game earlier this season. Only 3 goals behind City and a higher GD. Feckers are gonna do it and it's going to be awful.
I cling onto the feeling that if they do feck it up from here, it might just eclipse the Gerrard fiasco from a few years back. This time they really are expected to win quite handsomely.
With a game like this, do you lads want us to pile on the goals to help your auto qualification into the CL or do you want us to suffer the most ultimate of comebacks?
Weird year that. We were shit, City and Liverpool were in a heavy transitional period, Chelsea were in relegation form at times. Their only competition was the bottle twins Arsenal and Spurs. Not surprised Leicester won it over them.
Oh come on grow up... Yes, Liverpool are our greatest rivals but for me it's no difference which of our rivals wins something. All I really care about is what happens at United and that is what we should start doing again - look at ourselves first and not laughing about the bloopers of other while we have been failing constantly for the last 5 years!
The saving grace for me is Gerrard and Carragher arent on the pitch. More so Gerrard, he’s an unbearable cnut!!
Look these cnuts wont mess this up. I have already resigned myself to them winning it. The sooner you do the better lads.
I sort of get it. City are irrelevant, i don't care what they win or how they do it. As much as i hate them I do enjoy the rivalry we have with Liverpool, football would be more boring without it. I just don't want them to actually win anything.
Only thing I can hope for now is that we will get our act together by hiring a proper DoF, a savvy manager, doing some good transfer business and take back the title from these cnuts next season.
Anyway, I'm not counting chickens just yet. We saw from the first 15 mins how poor they looked when not playing high on confidence. It wont take much to derail this train. 7 points at this stage isn't much.
Huge pressure on City now, just for tomorrow's game for starters. Then an absolutely must win v them in only a few days. If they could get it down to 4 points they still have a chance. If they don't, and it stays 7, or even goes higher, then it's done.
I vote that we don't have them around, even more if they win the league. They've been waiting so long for their 19th league that the comments will be untolerable.
If they win at Etihad it's over. Even with a draw it's not looking good. With a poor fork they're in I don't see City winning. If they pass Thursday unscathed I don't see who can stop them.
I’d rather a giant sinkhole opened up in Klopps face and his entire squad were sucked into it before Klopp went pop
that is essentially the problem with the lead being 7pts - it's only 1 result away from being 10pts, which ain't never coming back like you say, City HAVE to win games now, including that one
I want all your players to contract a case of the runs and all need the bathroom at the same time, the payh to which is scattered with upturned plugs that blend into the ground so it’s difficult to see them.
