Wonderful news. Hope he's sold as soon as possible for a decent fee.

Why did he even join United if he loved Conte this much? Conte wanted him at Chelsea too, yet he decided to join United and the man that sold him to Everton. Weird guy.

Flat track bully and decent scorer vs smaller lesser teams, but not good enough against everyone else. He has a trend of going on scoring streaks (8-9 goals vs mediocre teams, then once he struggles in a game, thats him with nothing for another 9-10 games)

Seems like his game is running onto through balls (which we seemed afraid of trying), but when he plays with his back to goal, he just slows everything down an awful lot. And more often than not his touch to control the ball when playing like this is shockingly shockingly bad.

In short, not good enough for the highest level. Wouldn't be bothered if he left. But we would definitely need to bring in a top striker to play up top with Marcus. Lukaku would prob thrive in italy too. More suited to his pace.

And to be honest, if he loves Conte so much, he can beat it.

Hopefully an offer comes in for him! Fella is a mid table team player. was at West Brom and Everton for a reason.

Martial and Rashford should be enough up top. We need to get a few wing forwards and we would be better off.

£80m can get you a lot of strikers an a lot of RW. I’d rather get rid and re-invest. We still have Martial as a striking option. There’s no hierarchy of sale your either up for sale or not. I’m dumbfounded to think you believe the player who is less required means he has to go first. Makes no sense.

If he stays we'll need wingers and midfielders capable of feeding him, otherwise get ready for another season full of moaning and highly probable disappointment.

Sort this situation out, it's getting absurd when club like United suddenly any firepower and wingers.

    Who are we replacing with?

Rashford? Who has never scored consistently until now?
Martial ? Who is known for his laziness ?
    19 year kid from championship?

He was hardly given a chance under Ole. He is our best forward.

Good riddance if he goes, we got rid of one lumbering oaf in Fellaini, it will be good to get rid of this one. In fact Fellaini actually looks like a footballer with the ball at his feet compared to Lukaku and he was one of the most dire players I have regularly watched.

I did genuinely believe we had signed Daniel James to chase down Lukaku's first touch though..

Icardi- Haller- Vardy - Benzema - Dembele - Arnautovic - Werner

I’m at no point saying these strikers are levels but there not going to cost us £80m and if you think our season relys on having a friendly giant with no touch I pray for you.

Like I also said it give us extra cash to get what we really need. A winger.

Want me to name those to?

We finished 6th, we didn't score enough goals, yet Lukaku was our second top goalscorer, proving that not many others can step up to plate against the so called weaker teams.
His record is almost one in two, not sure how that can be improved playing the football we have played.
Your views on football are somewhat distorted, alarming, and quite frankly strange.

I doubt he loves Conte that much. What he does like is sucking up to his managers and he already knows Conte is going to be his next manager.

If he goes we should join the race for griezman again. But only if he goes on the price he came for.

Looking at the names, I am the one who should be praying for you. Might well add Lewandoski, Auba,CR7 to that list - its just a random list anyway.

Well your the one that cares about him being here. That’s the problem. I don’t. I’d happily have Martial and Rashford. We don’t need Lukaku for what we are trying to do. Let the love go. He’s an oversized Michael Owen post hamstrings. I already said I’m not saying get these strikers. Yes add Auba add Lacazzette too. They all are cheaper than Lukaku and would help the team more.

Not if he rips up a lot of pizzas and spaghetti.
I hear the food in Italy is very tasty and our boy Romelu has a very healthy appetite.

We should keep him and let him sulk all he wants on the bench and make him miss the Euros, thats what you get for disrespecting the club.

That's the problem when we think its as easy as in FIFA or FM to sign players. You still haven't told me a realistic target we can sign to replace him. You said there are lot of players available for 80m. Apart from Haller none of them are good enough or remotely achievable. After Jovic, Frankfurt might not even sell him this year .

Rashford is not good enough to take us back to top 4. This guy has only scored 10 PL goals once. Both Martial and Rashford are inconsistent as hell.

So , still waiting for that player list whom we can sign this year with that 80m .

He’s a poacher and that’s it. Got no first touch and he can’t even hold up the ball. Like he’s 15stone 6’1 and has no hold up play. Who made him.

Dembele is just another young prospect . Even our resident Ligue 1 viewers has mixed opinions.

Yes, if we can get Greizmann, we should offload Lukaku. But he is not coming to us though.

Actually I think it's working out quite well. If we sell him it's because we either want to sell him or because he wants to leave. There are no other options. If it's the former (us wanting to sell him) then we've got absolutely no bargaining power at all. But if we let it be known that we are quite happy to keep him and it's him that wants to be sold, we are in a much better position to demand a decent price. If anything I feel his comments are more aimed at encouraging Inter to get it done.

Harsh. I don't see him disrespecting the club in anything that he's said. Everybody and their dog knows that he's no longer first choice, so fair play to him wanting to move somewhere else for that role (and almost certainly taking a paycut as I can't see Inter paying him as much as us). He's always made it obvious throughout his career that he doesn't want to only be a squad player.

If he starts trying to put pressure on us to accept low bids, then there will be issues. But for now it's fine.

I don’t know what your trying to prove here but your having an argument over a crucial point where I’ve said I DO NOT CARE if he’s not replaced. He offers nothing anyway.

The players are achivable and I lot cheaper. We just probably don’t want them and go, because most of them are crap.

He thinks Conte is the best manager in the world? That's either a very bizarre opinion or he loves sucking up to his future manager first. It's all going to be very weird between him and Ole if he doesn't get his move to Inter

Letting him go and trusting in Rashford will cost Ole his job by December.

Letting him go is absolutely fine. He doesn't provide enough interplay with our other forwards, and he's not suitable to playing with a high press and helping win the ball back from the front.

I doubt we sell him and don't replace him. The thing we don't know is whether we'll buy somebody who slots straight in first choice or whether it'll be somebody younger who'll compete with Rashford and then whoever performs better gets the nod. Greenwood is also there, but it's probably a season too early for him.

Sad times when a donkey like him wants out. Hardly set the world on fire here I won’t miss him one bit.

Seems to favour a move to the Italian league the problem is there are few clubs able to spunk £70m on a player.
