Which three current player will you combine to make a perfect defensive midfielder?

I think a mix of Sergio Busquets(first touch game, technical ability, positioning and passing), Kante(tackling, stamina, interceptions) and Casemiro(aerial ability, ability to take defensive duty all alone) will be a great player.

Depends what kind of defensive midfielder you wanted. I'd like Paul Pogba to have the intelligence and discipline of Michael Carrick, and the desire of Alan Smith

Give him the passing of Messi, the height of peter crouch and the tenacity and pace of Kante

I have liked Matic for long and was very pleased when we got him, but he needs someone else besides him. He can't deal with half a team on his own.

Pirlo's footballing brain + Kanté's workethic + Vieira's physicality would be my perfect defensive midfielder in a 4-3-3.

Edit: ups just seen the "current".

    Well than it's Kroos brain + Kanté's workethic + Mousa Dembele's physicality.

Peak Carrick (passing, interceptions, positioning, height), Kante (tenacity, stamina, tackling) and Vidal(goals).

Busquets (positioning and awareness) + Keane (drive) + Pirlo (passing range).

I guess a fusion of Kroos (vision, composure, technique, passing) and Kante (defensive awareness, pace, agility, clean tackling) would do it.

Kantes energy and tenacity, Busquets positioning, Matic's height, Kroos on the ball intelligence and passing, Fernandinho's agility and long shot. Sure I forgot many better players but that will do for now.

Busquets is only 2 inches shorter than matic, is that extra 2 inches that important to you? If all he adds is height, you may as well say crouch...

To be fair even with Busquets height he is not the aerial threat someone like Matic is.

He's not a DM. I'm sure there is taller but one of my issues with fernandinho at city is how a big target man can drop back onto him for long balls.

But, Matic is great at winning balls in the air in midfield.

Carrick’s positioning, Javi Martinez’ athleticism, Busquets’ one touch play.
