Manchester United may be forced to put charismatic former Nigerian star Emanuel Amunike on contract to ward off interest from Racing Santander. Amunike has been working for United as a Nigerian scout and already has delivered two young prospects to the Premiership giants.

However, the former Barcelona midfielder is not contracted and Racing president Francisco Pernia wants to sign him as the club's prime African scout

What's this then? Pure fiction? We were linked to 2 Nigerian kids some time ago, but nothing came of it. Could it be they're on their way this summer?

Surely scouts with similar contacts or expertise would be easily available to a club like ours.

Just because he delivered 2 young prospects it doesn't mean you signed them

Just that he identified two players for you, they could have been scouted further and the club decided not to sign them or they could still be being scouted

I assume they were talking about Osagepamwen and Kalu, the two Nigerian kids that were supposed to have signed for us a while ago. I don't know if they're ever going to get to OT.
