Good grief, diahrea brown.
We didn’t win the treble until May 1999 though, so last month was the 20th anniversary and the kit was released.
You don’t commemorate an event 19 years and 3 months after it.
That cant possibly be real
It is, and the model looks thrilled. They must have made him watch the last five season review dvds before the shoot.
Why isn’t there a puking emoji on here?
Maybe I’m missing something but it’s not that bad? It’s definitely not good, but the reactions are a bit over the top.
Just post a picture of that kit, that will suffice.
That away kit is absolutely revolting, maybe the worst football kit ever created.
Well no but it was our treble winning season. We might’ve lifted the cups in May but they were won over the course of the 1998/1999 season, not in a month - and certainly nothing to do with 1999/2000.
I get what you’re saying though, that’s just how they seem to do things.
It's the colour of a washcloth after its been used to remove stains from a work surface. Or dirty undies.
It really is. Looks like your nans wallpaper from the 50s or something. Boring, horrid colour, crap pattern.
Have you seen the close-up pictures that shows the "pattern"? It's a disaster of a kit.
Adidas are that sick of paying is 75m a year they throw this at us
In another colour it wouldn't be that bad, but not this
Good god. Looks like a 1940s sepia photo has shat all over our pink away shirt from last year.
Our just reward for another year In the europa league.
It's not great, but from afar, it doesn't look too awful.
Think the home kit is a beauty though.
I don't get it. For the club that is being run as a business corporation instead of a football club, you would think they would release production that sells. But just look at this shite, who is gonna buy that? Genuinely terrible.
Lots will buy it. They always do.
I definitely wouldn't and no one I know cares to buy United merchandise anymore as well but as you said lots will buy it.
I can't see it being lots compared to previous years, it will surely be one of the least selling shirts we had in years. Our kits are usually quite average but this one is just ugly.
Looks a bit beige.
People say this every year. They'll sell around the same number as always, most buyers don't give a shit about the design.
Beige is the most inspiring colour. Adidas did a poll. Luckily the results matched the colour of a job lot of fabric they found in the back of the warehouse.
It's got the colour of shit you take after eating half a kilo of halva.
Dave on the Caf knows better than adidas' marketing company.
The colour is revolting, worst kit I’ve ever seen us have in watching United for 30 years.
Of course it would be the first time in history that some big company messes up the release of new product.
Looks like it’s made out of foreskin.
Apt as we have several bellends in our squad
Who ever designed this should be fired. How is that ever a good colour.
Is that kit supposed make our performances the second worst thing on the pitch?
Just seen AC Milan's third. Some of their fans are livid but compared to that cloth it looks fantastic. Somebody should show them ours.
Both are rotten.
Just got a free kit with the season ticket offer. Went for the home kit in long sleeve.
It really is a lovely shirt.
maybe next year
with collectors, often the uglier the shirt means the more sought after it is. Ugly kits are more memorable too - Norwich in '93 or Chelsea grey/orange in '95 for example
Yeah, the reactions are way too exaggerated. It's not that bad.
What is the point of that kit? Our traditional colours are Red, Black, White and Royal Blue. What the feck do pink and beige and the rest of the shit served up have to do with United?
I'm happy for a bit of variation away from those core colours every now and then. I like a bit of variation... But beige?! It's the least 'football' colour ever. The whole point of a kit is to be visible, not to look like 1980s wallpaper.
