The return of the pig.
I'd imagine he's still having nightmares about that performance against Blackburn. To be fair though, he's been pretty good overall.
I hope De Gea is fit. He really needs a clean sheet soon to get some of his confidence back.
This is so annoying
No Lindegaard, Da Gea, Rooney, Nani, Jones, Fletcher, Vidic, Anderson, Cleverly and Young.
I was at OT last year to see the coresponding fixure (we played AV then, 3-1 was the score). thank you Sultan xxx
i'm a little worried we're going to get done here..
Not even Barcelona can beat Stoke on a chilly one
In all seriousness, we need Smalling at right back with Jones in midfield to cope with the aerial threat now we are down to our 3rd choice goalie.
This season is such a tedious account in terms of being hamstrung by injuries, similar to last season and the season before that. We've missed out on opportunities due to stumbling at the last hurdle. This year has been the worst for it though, its incredible.
With the injuries we have tonight could really feck out season up.
Stoke will be no pushovers and with the team we will have to put out , who knows what that will be.
City could be 6 point in front of us tonight.
That cnut Durham last night, what a cnut.
A United supporter calls in, explaining, as if it needed explaining, that the heart has been ripped out of our squad, which is plain for all to see.
Durham's comment, before cutting the caller off, was 'so not enough squad depth, which is Fergie's fault'.
He is world's biggest cnut & should not be allowed to broadcast, how did he even get work talking in public?
btw, he's a cnut...
What about 'Even if you win the league you still lost 6-1 at Home to City'?
Not at all worried. We could field Berba in goal and still win this one comfortably.
what a injured list
Ferdinand is fit.
Away this is a tricky tie, at home I expect us to win comfortably.
Fantasy football dilemma.
Taken out Rooney, but who should replace him?
Welbeck, Berbatov, Hernandez?
Yeah, you'd have to bring in Fletcher and De Laet for the fullback berths.
We'll score a goal in the 27th minute tonight.
Calm down you over-worrying gimps, we'll win tonight and hope for Everton to take something
feck me... I was convinced this game was tomorrow night for some reason. No idea why... but it's made my day knowing we're playing tonight!!
It'll be the first home league game at Old Trafford that I'm not attending this season... I'm sure they'll get along just fine without me though.
If we want possession, then Welbeck and Berbatov with Berba taking rooneys role. If go 4-3-3 then Hernandez and Welbeck with Giggs/Park being the playmaker ().
for your FF definately Welbeck. At home he looks a good bet to score.
I'm looking forward to seeing this aerial bombardment that the written media are predicting for us.
Is the game televised tonight in uk ??
3-0 win for us, 2-1 defeat for City.
Nope. City's on today.
Ankle ligaments I've heard, If De Gea is out I think I would go with Amos he's always looked a handy keeper
Heard the reports on Anders but whats wrong with DDG?
Hey, we lost to Blackburn at home with most of their first team out, there are no gimmies on our schedule.
We could really use Jones in midfield, I can't see how Giggs or Scholes will be ready to start this game. Carrick could use a rest as well. Maybe Anderson will be ready as well.
Would be nice to see Evra get a game off as well.
Called in sick this morning.
Saw earlier that Etherington is a doubt for this, which is one positive.
Last week has been deflating for us, a thrashing tonight should help lift the mood.
Are both keepers definitely out?
As I say that SSN show Stoke arriving at OT, wonder if we've arrived yet as well?
Manchester United v Stoke: Updated Team News
Manchester United Squad: De Gea, Lindegaard, Amos, Smalling, Rafael, Ferdinand, Evra, Jones, Evans, Fabio, Fryers, Cole, Carrick, Scholes, Pogba, M Keane, Valencia, Park, Giggs, Rooney, Welbeck, Berbatov, Hernandez.
I'm laughing manically about our goalkeepers.
VDS wouldn't have got sick Manchester United to play Tomasz Kuszczak against Stoke with David de Gea and Anders Lindegaard out | Mail Online
that's fecking unreal.
Can PIG even play? I assume he wasn't in the named squad, but can that be changed??
The good news is the reserves haven't played since Thursday I think
What a feckin website is that?
Please, stop it. Sporting Preview, my arse.
