You'd probably be banned for trolling if in September you'd have said there would be a point when Rojo would be a bigger miss than Zlatan if they'd got injuries. Beast Rojo has been unreal this year.

I see what you're trying to do, but it's clear. The way his knee twisted it can't be anything else.

Twist like that is almost every time ligament damaging...and that 2nd hit he took was just unnecessary, wrong call from Mourinho not to take him off immediately.

Let's wait for the MRI and hope for the best because we seriously lack fit CB's.

A big blow. May be unfancied but he's the best organiser we have at the back.

Really doubt the second challenge would have made matters worse. Certainly wouldn't have helped though!

Probably the last player I wanted injured considering the circumstances. Every. Single. Year.

Buddy after a twist like that he wasn't supposed to be walking let alone running and tackling. He should have been carried off on a stretcher as a precaution.

Two ligament injuries in the same game would be sheer witchcraft

The first tackle looked like he got a whack on the right knee but twisted his left knee, and it was the left knee that he was holding afterwards. It was the right knee that got clattered then in the second challenge to force him off. feck knows then, could have both knees injured

We'll be fecked if he missed the big games coming. Can't imagine Blind playing them.

Rojo's a fecking red-blooded badass though. He's a tough fecker, way togher than most players, so I wouldn't read too much into that.

We are so fecked if he is done for the season. Deserves credit for turning around his United career in this manner and hope he gets well soon.

I actually thought it would be something with his shin or thereabouts rather than knee.

Hope he's not out till the end of the season ffs, he's incredibly important to us as we've got no proper back up.

Scratch that, no back up at fecking all.

Would be a bonus for us if its not that serious.

I dont think we have anybody else that is as comfortable at LCB as he is.

Although given this place, im expecting him to be out for a month, him to come back, look rusty with his first touch and everybody to say "ffs, sell him in the summer" :nervous:;)

If he's walking about with no brace it's probably not too bad , couple of weeks.

I don't, I exactly had the same injury two years ago and did everything in my knee, ACL, meniscus and the bone itself. I still didn't recovered properly, so yeah I'm very upset that a missed control can cause him wrong

Rojo out, defense becomes disorganized. He's important. He covers a lot of defensive mistakes made by the others too.

Heal well and return, Rojo  he's a Red.

I think him and Bailly are forming a better understanding game by game, which makes me wonder how much better we would have been if Bailly hadn't missed almost 2 months, and they look like the are friends too, which is always good for a pair. But also Rojo managed to form a decent partnership with Jones, so it is maybe down to Rojo's ability to organize.

Hope he is back soon, otherwise we are in trouble. There is no one from our cbs that I trust more.

Don't know why we didn't sub him straight off, needless risk. Hopefully he's just sore and needs a few days rest.

The game definitely changed after he came off and sure enough Anderlecht scored. He will definitely be a big miss. Was so looking forward to him and Herrera sending Bluemoon into meltdown on Thursday. :(

Hope we'll see him back before the end of the season. We'll need him in the run-in and the EL final of course.

    I fecking love Rojo

I'll hold my hands up and admit I wanted him gone not too many months ago, but he's really changed my mind. I also love his attitude, he's clearly desperate to play.

Me too. Lots of us did. What a turn around. I can't think of any player who improved this much in such a short time. He's been fantastic.
