Tosic plays for CSKA? Good chance to see how's he up to lately. Reckon Chelsea are at great value not to lose today

Who's this Callejón bloke? Finally a home-grown product from their academy?

Yeah, Callejón has come up through their academy. 11 goals in 22 games this season in all competitions, if you're interested in that sort of thing.

He spent previous three seasons at Espanyol and was re-signed by Real for €5.5m though.

I assume he's a striker to have those kind of stats. Higuain isn't getting a look-in these days seems like?

Callejon's a general purpose winger/forward - he did three seasons with Espanyol before returning to Madrid. He's done really well, reliable and a good worker when defending. Amazing goalscoring numbers.

Higuain's got a minor injury, but he's behind Benzema in the pecking order at the moment, despite 14 goals in 21 Liga games.

Benzema's been better than him comfortably this year, really picked up his game compared to last and offers more to the side than Higuain.

Nothing bad, just that Benzema's playing well and Madrid as a team play better with him up top.

True but even in the past when he has done the business wasn't there rumblings of him being sold? I just have this impression despite him always scoring he isn't quite always the managers first choice?

Yeah but the difference is that he's playing much better, he's in completely different form that when he first signed. He's scoring more, getting more involved in the build up play, seem to work harder. When there was rumblings of him being sold it was due to him not hitting off at Madrid, whereas now he's playing far better. In terms of always scoring he's already more than doubled his tally from his first season, so is more prolific. But like I say, the differences I've noticed have been more to do with his general play, his touch and workrate etc all seem to have improved. Compared to Higuain he's the more technical player and better at keeping possession and playing in others. He also seems to get involved more than Higuain, from what I've seen Higuain seems to play more on the shoulder of the centre backs, whereas Benzema drops deep more frequently, which is more suited to Madrid.
