Yeah, tonight's selection makes you wonder about that.

I feel sorry for AVB. The players are a load of spoilt brats who get their own way. The owner has created that.

It brings money to those teams, not to the league. The league doesn't benefit from that to a significant, clubs who participate in Europe do.

They might as well let John Terry manage the team, he already thinks he's the boss.

Chelsea would do well to get Lavezzi to replace Malouda.

He has no discipline in his game at this moment to be playing in the back 4 - Defensive midfield looks like his best position.

He'd have been roasted tonight against that pace

Terry has been poor for a while.

Deserved ovation for Lavezzi. Great performance

If Roman truly believes in AVB's project, then that shouldn't be an issue

In fact, if Chelsea lose the tie they'll be m ore focused on getting 4th. Might give City a game too...

John Terry looks sad. Poor dear. Well Chelsea would have already won the Champions League if you hadn't missed a penalty. There again they might have kept old Avram on as manager.

He's pumped £500m into that club and has seen no benefits, I think he might have had enough of it finally after Torres and will now spend wiser.

Terry has been banned by the FA and they are using the injury to cover it up..
    ^^
Wasnt that the rumor the last time he allegedly made a racist remark?
I'm starting that again for this injury.

He'd be better advised to stop making decisions about who to sign and leave it to people who have the first clue about football.

I like how focused Hamsik is when Chelsea have the ball. He isn't mucking about in defense.

Not directly, but that money eventually flows down to the smaller clubs through transfers. Also, a higher profile allows the Premier League to negotiate for higher TV contracts. Look at the SPL, their total budget is dwarfed by a mid-table Premier League team.

AVB was incredibly stupid to start with Ramires and Meireles as the two main CMs, neither are good at either holding or defending....Napoli have got at them at will.

I think he means the other English teams playing well will strengthen the league coefficient which has residual benefits for all the clubs on the Island.
