What?! He's shite, no way have City signed him, at least not with the intention of playing him.

Let me guess, they will loan him back and get a huge loan fee in return so they can further dope their finances. Little plastics.

Either a way for them to get some millions from NYCFC or a way to get NYCFC some fake money.

He was decent on one of my FM saves a few years back. I ended up managing USA and he and Michael Bradley ended up being my 2 CMs most of the time, with Caleb Stanko (who?) and Juninho (not the famous ones) as backup.

Nah, they'll loan him to a Championship club then sell for a profit (see: Aaron Mooy)

Saw him in person when the U.S. played against Panama at Rentschler Field a few years ago. Thought he was the best player on the pitch.

That being said, that's a low standard.

So you are saying they buy a player on the cheap from another one of their clubs, He never plays for them, they loan him and sell him for profit and it isn’t cooking the books?

Sounds like exactly the kind of deal UEFA are looking to outlaw in FFP 2.0.

NYCFC already shipped him out on loan so no chance he is going back there, they don't want him. If anything the move has little to do with City but could be more to get him off of NYCFC's books to clear salary cap for them since IFK Goteberg likely weren't paying his full wage.

Been to a few NYCFC games, none of which featured Mix. Pirlo, Villa, and a City kid named Jack Harrison were always fan faves, this guy never. Mix is supposedly a decent CM but this deal seems like another City group player (Lampard) moving through the clubs. Melbourne next?

Maybe why they are signing every defender on the planet in case they get a ban.

Jack Harrison being heavily linked with a move to Stoke City and he is a former United academy player.

I'd be surprised to see Mix go to the A-League. He'll likely stay in Sweden/Norway.

So City's club, NYC have cancelled his contract, so City sign him, even though he is shit, to sell on for a profit?

What are they paying this lad and have they paid him a signing on fee? This is crooked as it comes.

Aye, it is a way of increasing revenue for City to spend more ££££ and still pass FFP.
