Great deal for both you and Everton. You get a fair price for him and Everton get a very decent player.

Scored against Everton when we beat them 3-0 at Goodison last season. His best game in red. Very silky underappreciated player

Simply needed regular football, which he wasn't going to get here.

Will go back to be being one of the best midfielders in the league and people will ask why we sold him.

    Good fee though

And the answer will always be, he couldn't handle the step up.

He absolutely should. Audacity not the word you were looking for.

Which will be pretty annoying as it seems obvious he couldn't make the step up.

Sad to see him go but the right decision. His years with us were pretty unspectacular but it wasn't a great time to be at Utd.

Hope he is on form against City if he plays!

Was probably in the top 3 of best looking current United players. But not enough on the pitch.

But if you're pretty, that's already pretty good.

Classy touch; best of luck to him (except against us, obviously).

It's good move for him and Everton, which would seem is his level. Shame really, I thought he would be a very good player for us

Yeah we basically got our money back so it's a good deal from our perspective. Guess his ordeal at United just shows how hard it is to succeed at Old Trafford.

Everton have got a great deal now. They can begin to phase out Barry and a schneiderlin-guaye-barkley midfield looks quality if they can keep them all.

Hope he manages to get his career back on track, which I'm sure he will under Koeman.

Just wasn't suited to us, unfortunately.

Really hope he does well, just don't think he's good enough for a club of our size. Think he'll do well at Everton, could see him earning a move to another bigger club in a few years. For some reason I feel inter.

He's a good player but with the arrival of Pogba and the emergence of Herrera under Mourinho, it was always gonna be tough for him to find regular minutes, which is obviously what he wanted.
He has united quality, we simply have too many players in his oaiution at this point (the irony of it given the last ten years)

Good luck to him. He wasn't great for us but I think he could have been a decent player for Mourinho had he been given more opportunity. He's a far better footballer than Fellaini anyway.

Had a few very good performances. Everton away, City away off the top of my head.

A win-win-win transfer; good deal for the clubs and the player. Unfortunate that he didn't show up for us when given the opportunity but could be an immense player for Everton - he just didn't seem to thrive under our system.

Good luck to him - hoping he can make an impression against City.

Tbf, Azpilicueta would quite easily get in our team.

Most happy I have been about a signing since Lukaku.

As I said in the other thread, him and Gueye give us a great base to work of and now we can concentrate on getting some class for the 3 positions behind Lukaku or hopefully Barkley finally steps up.

A Gueye - Schneiderlin midfield will be so frustrating to play against when we play them next. Hope this can help them get some points off our rivals at least.

That midfield will create nothing though.

Hope he does well as he's a very good player. He's very likeable and I was absolutely delighted when we signed him. Pity it didn't work out.
