Victor Lindelof will be the player speaking today.

We might as well. Frivolous appeals aren't a thing anymore.

Don't see why he was so fixated on this like he wants the media to call Wenger out, every manager has always done it. He did it in the same game with Matic. Doesn't really matter in any way.

He is just taking a dig at him. Whats wrong with that? Also he never said Matic is out for the game. He said doubtful. Wenger did say the day before that Lacazette was definitely out for the game.

He also said it with a smile. People should always *watch* the presser and not just read quotes on twitter.

Mourinho's a meticulous planner, he's the type of manager that would make a whole game plan that doesn't involve Lacazette, involving numerous training sessions on how to cope with the alternatives. He also probably made one that does involve Lacazette too, it's these little things which probably cause him annoyance. The comment seemed tongue and cheek anyway, but yeah, he's repeating this same thing.

Can't see on what basis the FA would rescind the red card - because they'd effectively be taking Pogba's word for it that it was accidental. No matter how many times you watch it, you can't come to a clear conclusion.

Will Lukaku be rested with Rashford up front now?

I feel this is the type of game we can rest Lukaku in so I would do that. Martial might get another start as well to keep the form going.

Lindelof seems like a cool guy. Pity he and his gf got dog's abuse from twitter trolls in the initial days.

I myself was not convinced by him, but the level twitter stoops to is sometimes really low.

JOSE HAS A SURPRISE IN STORE
Marouane Fellaini also missed the win at the Emirates Stadium and Mourinho said: "All the other players that didn't play the last match are still out."
He confirmed Michael Carrick was unavailable but added, intriguingly: "I can make a surprise tomorrow and the one that is unavailable, he plays."

    'DE GEA IS THIRD BEST!'
Asked if he had ever worked with a better goalkeeper than David De Gea, the boss mischievously replied: "Yes, Romero. Because he plays tomorrow and my goalkeeper is always the best goalkeeper in the world. So now David is the third best. Romero is number one and Joel [Pereira] number two, and David is the third best."

    DECISION TO MAKE ON SHAW
Will Mourinho consider resting Ashley Young and playing Luke Shaw? "I'd have to think," he said. "I'm going to make a few but not too many changes. We didn't qualify yet and I need to keep a certain balance in the team. But when you speak about Luke Shaw, you are right. He's working to have an opportunity and sooner or later, the opportunity will arrive, because he deserves that opportunity. Selected for tomorrow, yes, for sure. To start or to be on the bench, I cannot answer."

Nope not at all what happened.

Wenger on Lacazette, "Lacazette has a groin problem and will be out certainly for Saturday's game"

Jose on Matic, "He's travelling with the team, he's going to try and, hopefully, he can, but I cannot guarantee he is ready"
