Love how she has a cheeky glance and says "Perhaps it's the angle"'. She obviously doesn't agree with Simon

Love the channel and cannot believe it is 20 years old!

Although am I the only one not really not a fan of the match and highlight commentator - sacrilidge but I mute any highlights with him on it.

The production values haven’t changed in 20 years either.

That’s funny as hell. How have I never seen that before?

Tbf, I think the channel has improved significantly. The pundits are even a bit more critical than they used to be - which is refreshing.

    Welcome to United JoMo!
I would say they've actually improved a bit since 1998. The shows now look like they were produced in 2002.

I was watching the Paddy Crerand show today and somebody emailed the show complimenting Stewart Gardner and Steve Bower on the commentary they've provided during their respective stints on MUTV. It can't be that hard - commentate and do so in a biased manner.

I've never really watched it, to be honest, but I'd put money on it not lasting another 10, let alone another 20 as a broadcast channel.

Only ever watched it when I’ve been in the Red Cafe or when it’s been free showing.

The way the world is changing it will end up being a YouTube channel in 10 years.

You sure ? Wouldn't be surprised if United are showing all first-team games 'live' by then

I can see it existing as a subscription service online, with an app, but I can't see them persisting with the broadcast model for another 2 decades.

Wish they'd show more old UCL games but no they keep repeating the same old games - it's like they only have 30 games in their archive while the rest got lost

Hopefully, with all the matches streamed. Something like Netflix and the death of sky.

Doesn't the Premier League/Champions League, etc. own the rights to those broadcasts?
