At one point I think Martin Tyler was holding him back from going on the pitch and getting his cock out.

Using location as a tagline: because I'm just not
While we're here I could do without Paul Walsh making sex noises every time City get anywhere near the box.

Even Paddy Crerand on MUTV is less biased than Quinn.

Pathetic, might as well have been a dedicated Man City channel.

Pretty sure I saw him commentating from between Mancini's ass cheeks.

Hang on - I thought Mancini's arse was the main attraction? That co-commentator seemed to think so

It was a very poor choice of co-commentator by Sky. Where was Alan Smyth?

He started off alright but as the game wore on his desperation for City to win was a bit of a joke.

It was very obvious and it makes him an incredibly poor commentator, but it's the least of my grievances right now, to be honest.

He kept telling Nasri to get back behind the ball and defend, poor choice from sky.

They probably thought they'd need some balance because Gary Neville is in the studio, but Nev is a model professional and tries not to show his bias.

Did I dream this or at one point wasn't Tyler talking about Tevez going missing and what not and Quinn just goes "Ah well, its all water under the bridge now".

Could not have been more biased if he tried. They may as well had Summerbee commentating too.

At least Gary Neville tries to be professional when assessing games, when I'm sure he'd be raging inside.

Oddly enough I thought, he came across well when this thread was actually made.

    But tonight was cringeworthy.

He was a disgrace. Why the feck did they have an ex City player co-commentating? Where was Souness or Smith?

He proper jizzed his pants when they scored.

He is one of the nicest guys in football. He happened to play for City. Blame sky for putting him in the commentary box.

If we had played great stuff he would have had a chance to show he was not as bias as you think he is

Couldn't agree more with everything said here. I was getting more and more irate as the game went on, more so with Quinns commentary than the shambles in red on the pitch.

Honestly felt like I was watching CityTV, it was an absolute joke. For the UK's biggest sports broadcaster, they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

The Tevez thing is under the bridge as far as City fans are concerned. All they want to do is win the league and they don't care how.

    Please.

We could have scored 5 goals, beaten them to a pulp and he'd still been all for City. He could at least try and be professional. feck me, if Nev can do it, anybody can.

Well that says everything we need to know about them as a club then. For a player to refuse to play, piss off for 6 months to play Golf and get paid 200K a week plus to do so (yeah they fined him a bit and he even tried to appeal that), thats water under the bridge once hes on his arse out the door as far as I am concerned, what an example thats set.

Blame Sky for putting him in the commentary box...? Sky chose to put Gary Neville in the studio all season, commentating on big games for City, for Liverpool... and games involving United. They pay him to analyse the game, to provide insightful tactical information and discussion on the match, they trust him to be impartial. He is an employee, he does as he is told. Quinn is exactly the same, tonight he was employed to commentate, not to make verbal love to Manchester City.

But it can't really be considered as 'winning' the league? Only as much as driving 26 miles can be considered as running a marathon

I like Niall Quinn but atrocious commentary tonight. Usually these guys make a real effort not to come across biased but he didnt seem to give a shit.

All is forgiven with Wilkins after listening to Quinn

What on earth was Quinn going on about at the end  Listing all those City legends and saying that they made the club what it is  Nobody surely can say that and mean it - honestly they have nothing to do with what the club is, that's all down to the folks from Abu Dhabi and everyone knows it

I presume if you haven't won the league in 44 years and have lived in the shadow of a club like ours you'd take anything any how.

Awful commentary tonight, Don't think I have ever heard someone so happy to see United lose, I understand it from former pro's and all that but on the commentary team? It was bad enough watching the match without having to listen to the City love in.
