Whats everyones thoughts on the United crest? Personally, I don't like it. I think it looks kind of childish. I would much prefer one that encoporated the coat of arms rather than a Devil.

I agree, I like the slimline look of Juve's new crest.

I never liked how bright the yellow is. More of an orangey red like this would be perfect.

Surely the devil has to go, if we were to expand our fan base onto the evangelicals. Since we are all about marketing these days.

I like how our red, yellow and black colours are all featured prominently while City's sky blue is limited, ironically, to a little bit of sea.

Manchester('s coat of arms) is ours?

That's way WAY too "busy" by modern branding standards. It might look nice on an old building but it'll look shite on a shirt.

If we go for a brand redesign I reckon they'll strip it down to the devil alone, like they've done with the fashion range for quite a while now...

There's nothing wrong with a little re-branding but sadly our club live in the stone ages. Haven't we only just got an official Youtube channel now and introduced a woman's team. A new club crest will probably be done in 100 years.

I always wonder why countries put animals that don't live naturally in their country, on the cost of arms.

This is just moaning at the club for moanings sake...

Why do we need to re-brand it? This version of the crest was done as part of a re-branding process that occurred because different departments within the club used different versions of the old crest...

The only thing I'd do with the current one, is put Football Club back on it...

Wish we were allowed put stars on the kit. Two silvers for 20 titles or three golds for the CL.

We need something modern and fashionable, to reflect the Caf's recently found love for pleasing-on-the-eye football above all else.

Need 'football club' back in the badge in my opinion. Don't even like chatting about the badge in the modern game, probably minimise it like city/juve or knowing our owners throw a sponsor in it.

My only gripe is that it’s too yellow, and that there ought to be more white and black. The shape and design are fine.

I think it should have more black and white. It's not like we wear gold/yellow anyway, even if it's a reference to the coat of arms.

EDIT: What the poster above said.

Totally agree. Our last crest which included the words “football club” was perfect.

I prefer the shape of the existing one. The roundness (and the stars) rather gives it a taint of City.

The colour scheme is spot on though.

Is it all your own work?
