Both players out of contract in the summer. Both would potentially be starters, Ozil for sure, if Wilshere keeps up this form, he’ll be a starter here too. I think Ozil will be easier to entice but could we turn Wilshere’s head too or is he too arsenal through and through?

The thought of us taking their best 3 players is far too good to resist to be honest.

Take too many Arsenal players and do we have to then worry about turning into Arsenal?

No. Our manager won't accept their rubbish. Arsenal have a talented squad, they're just being nurtured by a mother, rather than a proper manager.

Ozil is still one of the top number 10s in the world and Wilshere’s demonstrated he’s mentally nothing like the arsenal lot given how well he’s come back from his injury troubles. Would take them both here in a heart beat.

Wilshire is very talented but I'd rather not. We have had our fill of talented players who only perform in patches.

Ozil fair enough, but no thank you to Wilshire, McTominay is far better than him, heck. Gomes is better than him, so we should stay as far away from him as is possible.

Ozil if we can't get Dybala/Mahrez/Malcom etc then okay.

Wilshere is simply too injury prone. Apparently the contract he has been offered by Arsenal is less than his current wage which says a lot about how they view his potential for staying fit.

Tbf, after years of breaking down every 4 minutes, Wilshere really has proven his long term fitness by playing less than a dozen games.

Give him more than Sanchez in case he says no.

    Ozil yes. Wilshere no.

Phil Jones already holds the fort at United of "player who is very when fit, but struggles to stay fit". We don't need another.

Ozil yes if Dybala doesn't come, Wilshere no, too much of a risk.

Wilshere is probably the most overrated player I can remember in many years.

Ozil ok, but we have to buy other players in different areas of the field

I'd only go for Wilshere on a pay as you play kind of deal or one that gives us an out if needed.

Not sure he'd go for that, but he might be tempted than going to a mid table club...

Come off it, McTominay isnt in Wilshire's league, not yet anyway.

Problem is fitness for JW, he's looked great recently.

Ozil on a free in the summer would be unbelievable business. We desperately need a creating specialist.

It would also allow us to address probably all the areas in the squad where we need replacements. Maybe a potential world class RB and CB. Back up Striker too.

Only problem is Pogba looks twice the player in a midfield 3 and if we signed Ozil it'll be back to a 4231. Would Ozil/Dybala bring that extra xfactor that Pogba brings from out left?

    -------Lukaku
    Martial-Ozil-Sanchez
    ---Pogba----Matic
    Shaw-Jones-Bailey-RB
    -------
    De Gea

Didn't Wenger say he wants Wilshere to be Arsenal captain? Don't think he'll leave if he's offered a contract there.

Don't want Wilshere; plus I'm sure that he'll renew his contract. Özil would be fantastic, of course.

Have a word, McTominay will never be as technically gifted as Wilshere.

Forget yet. He'd do well to ever display Wilshere's level of talent and performance when fully fit

You just know Wilshere would get injured as soon as he signs a new contract at Arsenal.

Ozil would be my third choice after Fekir and Lemar.

    Mc Tominay

Why would anyone want Wilshere. His injury record is abysmal and I will be VERY surprised if he isn't injured again within a month. He is also a c*nt. Ozil though, yes please.

I'd love us to get Ozil, but recent reports linking him to us have died down a bit lately. He will stay at Arsenal (for some reason) in my opinion.

    No wo Wilshere.

I worry about Ozil's application when the going gets tough but, if Jose thinks he can work with him like he did at Real, for free there's no way you could turn him down.

Wilshere I'm much less keen on. He has the tools to be a great midfielder and has looked fine in this recent run of games but he is far too unreliable for a top club to consider bringing in. If I were an Arsenal fan I'd want to persevere with him but I don't like the thought of bringing him to a new club expecting instant results.

only maybe when it comes to staying fit.
That being said, I don't want either Ozil nor Wilshere in United. One is old in footballing age, another is too injury prone.
I want the likes of Dybala, Milinković-Savić, Christian Pulisic, Thomas Meunier and co.

Ozil yes, if we're going for 4-2-3-1.

    Wilshere, nah. Don't need him.

Looks like they will both stay at Arsenal. Ozil is a no brainer on a free. Wilshere has come back really strong recently but would be very risky to give a big contract to.

I've said that I've had Ozil's and Alexis' partnership and understanding together as the best in the PL these last few years but I wouldn't want Ozil. With already having Pogba, I just don't think we'd benefit from having both in the middle of the park. It'd leave us so vulnerable defensively.

On Wilshere, if he could remain fit I'd definitely take him. He's exactly the sort of CM we should be looking at to partner Pogba and Matic. The thing is you just can't rely on him to stay fit.

I fully expect Wilshere to break down the second he gets his new contract, whoever gives it to him.

Ozil is a gem of a footballer. I'd take him in a heartbeat and figure out logistics later. I think he's staying at Arsenal though - While his talent deserves better I think he's happy enough to coast along nicely with pretty attacking football and less demand to actually win.

Unfortunately, we have had to reserve an operating room in our medical department for Alexis Sanchez' dogs so there is no space for Wilshere.

    Why ?

Arsenal control possession and push a lot of players deep into the opposition half. As a consequence, their attackers and creative players look better than they would do in a more defensive set-up and their defenders look far worse than they would if they were playing for Burnley, or some other park the bus team.

It's a bit like buying Dortmund creative players that kill opponents on the counter-attack, then wondering why they don't produce the same productivity in our system.
