    Witch craft I tell ya

    Burn him to the stake!

Edit: in all honesty yes there’s definitely a connection and I don’t see it being coincidental either especially with Pep being the sly character he is

Wasn't the infamous dr Fuentes involved with Barcelona and Spain during their primetime?

Not that I care really, innocent until proven guilty, etc.

Yes. Both the peak Barca team and Spanish national team were doped to the tits IMO.

Yes, a professional athlete will just take "vitamins" from their doctor without asking what is in them....

I don't believe it myself, but I do find it odd how a team of midgets can run their tits off all season and avoid almost all minor injuries. In the rare scenario they do get injured they usually come back much earlier than expected. Maybe he just has a great medical/fitness staff, I really don't know.

The talk about them dominating possession therefore not getting tired is rubbish too. If anything the intensity they play with would be even more tiring, they're always closing down players, closing down passing avenues, running in behind the defence, creating overloads etc.

I said it against Spurs - They looked like they were on fast forward compared to Spurs players. I’ve never seen a PL side relentlessely close off space like they do from every angle. It could just be that the players and coaching really are that good but having watched De Bruyne in Germany he didn’t exactly strike me as a world class athlete.

It wouldn’t shock me in the least if something comes out.

Pep's Barca and City both were fined for breaching whereabouts rules.

Pep had issue with Bayern medical team.

    2+2 and all that.

Everyone uses doping, it's not even forbidden. You just can't overdose your atheltes with enhacing drugs, their analysis must be inside the standard values. They just give them enough quantity to stay in the upper limit of the standard value.

Just like all the other professional athletes, I'm afraid.

They know and sometimes they act like they don't.

You get positive if your analysis are above a pre-determined standard value, pretty much similar to a regular blood analysis. If they keep inside the legal limits, it's completely legal.

Pep seems the type of guy who’d do anything for even the slightest advantage anywhere. Like I wouldn’t put it past him to tip off the maintenance worker to temporarily shut off the AC system in the away locker room etc etc.

So seeing this which he has a track record of, definitely within the realm of possibility. I mean he does run around like a monkey himself on the sideline, wouldn’t doubt if he still takes the good stuff to this day.

If there was really something to it why aren't opponents making claims like this? I personally don't think there is enough evidence out to make that claim. Man City certainely aren't breaking records in distance covered.

Those three tests that City failed acc. to BBC were them missing out on informing the FA on this or that. They didn't find them to have tested positive.

That just means you didn't get caught, doesn't nessecarily make it legal though? For example if Pep was to come out and admit his players were under the influence of enhancing drugs, he'd still get done, whether or not they were under the 'acceptable' limit.

That's some "whereabouts" rule, coincidentally even Pep's Barca breached the same rule.

The only thing that would make me think this could be true, are KDB's energy levels, especially vs Spurs. He seemed to not tire at all, which is unusual when watching KDB from previous seasons and even at the start of this season. He's never looked like a player with a Kante style engine. Saying this, watching us last season people could and probably did claim the same considering we had no injuries and were working hard almost all season.

However, I think we would be naive to believe this sport and it's athletes are any different than other sports which have had drug cheats. Football is played at a great intensity over a season, including many games per month, it's certainly easy to believe football players are on something.

If this is true and there is enough evidence to make a compelling case, why aren't United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs doing something to stop it?

Either it's mostly myths, or everyone else does it too. So it doesn't really matter too much.

Yes I gathered that, but to say that based on that - despite having all the actual tests coming out negative - they use doping is a weak case to defend.

I confirmed it when sane stopped an attack against spurs and shoulder the ball for ederson to take it and he was off to start a counter..it wasn't normal...
And how apparently de bruyne turned into this super athlete in a season, making tackles and closing down players all over the pitch..

Whereabouts protocol are there so athletes can't duck tests in order to get their doping cycles right. In athletics such breaches can lead to a competition ban. Football doesn't seem to care about it for some reason.

Thiago Alcantara also breached the rules three times whilst Pep was at Bayern.

With the level of scrutiny in today's football I think it's almost impossible to take PED today. Maybe I'm naive, but the risk is just too big — will Man City owners risk hundreds of millions of pounds for a silverware that will be taken away after the whole affair got uncovered?

It wouldn't surprise me to think of such plot in the 60's (take Herrera's Inter and Barca, for example, with consistent rumour of "magic pills"), even in the 90's, but in the era of social media it would've been impossible to keep a thing like this quiet.

Won't be too disappointed if I'm to be proven wrong though  2 additional CL titles will also be welcomed

I don't know how serious the tests are but doping in Football is real and there are so many articles explaining this, including interviews from the players.

I wouldn't be surprised if his teams are doping. But I would be even more surprised if they are the only ones.

Everyone is doping, even some morons at your local gym are doing it for nothing more than their ego and you think one of the most profitable sports in the world, where officials actively turn a blind eye towards it, is free of it?

Are there Barca, Bayern, City players who have been tested positive? Can't remember.

There are huge money and financial interests in football. City's rivals would to everything they could to prove that something is wrong.

I'm not so sure - isn't the testing in football pretty lax? Especially compared to cycling and sprinting etc, where they still struggle with the issue despite the increased focus.
