I fecking love Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ah, just like I thought. Well done.
Valencia looking thrilled as usual
How many years has he been in England?
Like Fergie comments about those Liverpool and Sunderland fans. We'll show them next season. Hope we send Sunderland down.
Spoke in his native tongue which is being translated.
Six years. He can speak some English but isn't that confident in it.
Fergie on the mic reminds me of some of the old style British comics at working men's clubs
Valencia overjoyed by the honour
Players Player the first award? And without mentioning the nominations and who was runner-up?
Jimmy Murphy Award winner. Mats Daehli. Good 17 year old.
Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year (Academy) goes to Mats Daehli.
The other nominations were Jack Barmby and Luke McCullough.
Well done to Mats. Thought Barmby might pip him but they've both been wonderfully haven't they? Such excitement about this age group.
That team should be good next year. To get so far in the Youth Club.
That lad looks quality from the little I've seen, which is that video played in the ceremony... How good is he, for those who have seen him?
feck my Mum rang me when SAF gave a rousing speech, what did he say?
The young lad Barmby looks class.
Fergie was brilliant, he looked like he'd already had a few too many glasses of wine.
SAF said that the players and staff have done wonderfully and they do things he has never heard of. But even with how old he is, he is a winner. And he'll keep the side with that mentality.
And they won't forget Sunderland supporters cheering at full time.
There's something about a dinosaur too, I hope someone up's that on YouTube, sounds like vintage SAF.
Denzil Haroun Reserve Team Player of the Year award goes to Michael Keane.
Nominations: Larnell Cole, Michael Keane, Jesse Lingard.
Reserve Player of the Year: Michael Keane.
Reserve Player of the Year. They all deserve to win it. Michael Keane. I have real hopes for the Keane twins.
Michael Keane has really come on a lot this year, well deserved.
Surprised Petrucci wasn't on the shortlist for that one
He always seem tipsy at these occasions. Funny as hell.
I'm not sure to be honest. For none of the awards have runners up been mentioned, but there have been nominations. Not sure if the Player's Player of the Year had their nominations said (I assume they did, but I didn't catch them).
The Keane's always seem nice well mannered lads. A credit to their family. Nice to see. Ravel Morrison take note.
By the 'eck I love Jesse Lingards dialect. Go and stuff City on Thursday. Wouldn't put it past City putting a senior team just to get on over on out kids.
Jesse looked dissappointed
He did. Anyone of them would have been a deserving winner.
I don't think they did have the nominations - strange that.
Why would they have nominations, just vote for who you want and count the votes.
Very. I thought they did mention nominations last year when Nani won it but seems they've decided not to do it this year. I assume the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year will be at the end of the ceremony.
Would be nice if they had a Save of the Season as well as Goal of the Season. Goalkeepers tend to be left out in the awards.
De Gea gone over to talk to young Sam Johnston. Cool.
Yep he looks like he's enjoying himself.
They're having a right old laugh too.
De Gea's english must have improved vastly.
Because they usually do.
So De Gea can speak English then? Or does Johnston speak Spanish?
Either talking about penalty saves or donuts.
Great to see him mixing with and helping out the youth and reserves. With some luck a few of them will have long careers in the same first team squad as him
