Like Fergie comments about those Liverpool and Sunderland fans. We'll show them next season. Hope we send Sunderland down.

Fergie on the mic reminds me of some of the old style British comics at working men's clubs

Valencia overjoyed by the honour :smirk:

Well done to Mats. Thought Barmby might pip him but they've both been wonderfully haven't they? Such excitement about this age group.

The young lad Barmby looks class.

Fergie was brilliant, he looked like he'd already had a few too many glasses of wine.

SAF said that the players and staff have done wonderfully and they do things he has never heard of. But even with how old he is, he is a winner. And he'll keep the side with that mentality.

And they won't forget Sunderland supporters cheering at full time.

Reserve Player of the Year. They all deserve to win it. Michael Keane. I have real hopes for the Keane twins.

I'm not sure to be honest. For none of the awards have runners up been mentioned, but there have been nominations. Not sure if the Player's Player of the Year had their nominations said (I assume they did, but I didn't catch them).

By the 'eck I love Jesse Lingards dialect. Go and stuff City on Thursday. Wouldn't put it past City putting a senior team just to get on over on out kids.

Very. I thought they did mention nominations last year when Nani won it but seems they've decided not to do it this year. I assume the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year will be at the end of the ceremony.

Would be nice if they had a Save of the Season as well as Goal of the Season. Goalkeepers tend to be left out in the awards.

    Because they usually do.

So De Gea can speak English then? Or does Johnston speak Spanish?

Great to see him mixing with and helping out the youth and reserves. With some luck a few of them will have long careers in the same first team squad as him
