Arsenal haven't won at Old Trafford in 12 years.

This was probably their best chance yet. I'm not sure they have turned things around. Some improvements from Wenger but they still have frailties.

It's alright, mate. I'm sorry for getting so defensive and labelling you 'condescending' as well. Also, Like I said, I may disagree with you on a lot, but I do think you do well into going into detail on why you hold said opinions, so I'm sorry if I came across as calling you a bad poster because I don't think that.

Credit should be given where due.

At least the team was not sluggishly pathetic and lacking in desire and ideas in this match.

    Arsenal just beat Spuds handsomely.
This match was one small step in the right direction.

Pointless and unimpressive 90 minutes from us again. Wish we had a game plan and stuck with it, not this mess anymore please.

Subs killed our attacking play and pressing game. Who would have thought that with Pogba, Lukaku, Fellaini and Matic on the pitch at the same time. Only Mata was missing.

We are doomed for a season full of meaningless moral victories which ultimately do nothing to help us. It will also happen against the first big team we face in the cl knockout round. Show just enough guts, heart and passion in a big game but not enough to win it so that it really benefits us while we look toothless and struggle to score all season against any cannon fodder and end up finishing 8th or something and out of every competition by March. All against a season long background of player and manager discontent. Can't wait for the season to end already.

Pity Rojo is so rash. He's a red card walking and I understand he had to come off. We lost the little momentum we had when Lukaku came on. If Martial hadn't got injured we'd have won that game. Pogba could have come in earlier and with a fit Martial and Rashford's pace. Pogba would have made more impact on the game than he did. Think Pogba when he sees Lukaku as his only option loses interest. Most entertaining we've seen at OT so far but even so a scrappy game from both sides and not much football.

I thought we were still pretty shit. The performance tonight should be the bare minimum for a Manchester United player. Dalot let so much go by him, he won't get away with that in this league but he will certainly improve. Thoroughly enjoyed watching Rojo and Bailly, both of them are fecking headcases.
I would also take a shit Rooney tomorrow instead of Lukaku. To get the best of him we need a Beckham on the right and left, just fecking terrible at holding it up with his back to goal.
Nothing left to say. So many mistakes and nothing going forward. Someday we will be brilliant again. I hope.

These guys sh@t over Jose all the time, including in this video. At 6:00 they talk about the Pogba transaction and concede that it wasn't what Mourinho wanted, but deserves the blame for going along with it.

In any case, it doesn't matter. Most are already dead set on following the time-honored tradition of human sacrifice to appease the angry mob, but you're fooling yourselves if you think that the manager is the root of the problem.

I thought Bailly did well considering he’s been out the team for so long. He’s an accident waiting to happen though with his all action style. Dalot really struggled but I wouldn’t hold that against him given where he is in his career and his lack of game time. The less said about Rojo the better...

Herrera was excellent and by far our man of the match for me.

Overall though we are still a mess. Injuries or not we just seem to make it up as we go along. The subs actually weakened us rather than having a positive impact.

In isolation it's not an okay result perhaps good given our form. In context it's another step away from the pack. With Chelsea having City next we could have closed the distance down to a few points.

Was a decent game to watch at least. Our big game results aren't the issue its failing to win against the bottom half

Also for some reason Spurs got praised o here for conceding 4 goals to them a few days ago

Good, crazy premiership midweek game under the lights!

But watching this game, it just made me realise how poor we are. We are a mid-table team, at best. There are many teams better than us in the Prem.

Everything seems a bit of a drama. Even DDG has lost his spark a little.

Jose is running us, truly, into a team that is nothing short of an embarrassment when you consider the club, the spend.

It's disgraceful what Mourinho has done. He has created a sideshow.

DDG - Mistake but did well after
Dalot - Didn't do much, Kolasinac pulling him all over the place
Bailly - Think right side of 3 CBs is where he would play as he can get aggressive. Still don't fancy him in a 2
Smalling - Won a few headers and seemed to get aggressive at times
Rojo - Thought he done well until that howler
Darmian - Better LWB than he is anywhere else
Matic - Best performance this season for him
Herrera - Didn't notice him do a lot but he definitely got about and looked busy
Lingard - Cant remember much apart from helping Rashford pressing - Done well to nip in for the goal
Martial - Relatively quiet, another goal
Rashford - I am his biggest critic but what a shift he put in! Set the tone for a decent performance

Can I just say that Mourinho shouting to Fellaini to go up top, and then waving at our midfielders to put it up to him, felt horribly symbollic of where the club is right now.

    Indeed.
Before the match many predicted that we'd lost by a big big margin and that we were absolutely nailed on for a loss.
I'm glad that our players turned up and put in a good shift. I'd be happy to see the same set of players play.

I did notice that after the subs, our intensity went back to normal (lacklustre). I'm not sure if it was Pogba/Fellaini who caused this or if it was something else.

That's about the only thing you could say to our credit last night. We've all seen teams with no fight left (us in the end days of Moyes springs to mind), it's horrible to see and we're not there yet.

But it's very small beer. As many have said it resembled a lower league game you'd stick on to laugh at the comical defending rather than a serious game between two great clubs. There's no progress from that, it merely confirmed what we already knew in that we have some balls and some talent but no fecking clue as to how we turn this around.

Crazy. Lots of people got a blind eye for De Gea and think he is doing well no matter what he does here. Same with those Rooney lovers near the end too at times.
Herrera and Rashford best players in my view for us yesterday.

I cant imagine people getting happy with a draw at Old Trafford. We were 2nd place last season. What happened this season so far is a disgrace.

Played better than a lot of matches recently and I think Bailly was excellent (keep saying he should be given a run, and alongside Lindelof), Darmian was good too, so was Rojo despite the one huge mistake, which he almost made up for with the last-ditch tackle) and I re-iterate: it's time for Dalot to play regularly. Elsewhere, not so good. Again DDG not at his very best, Martial still plays the headless chicken at times running straight at players and Rashford still doesn't make the best decisions often enough. But the real problem remains midfield: I've been saying since Scholes retired that we need two world-class players in there, one could be a wide man. and for those arguing with me about Pogba, tell me exactly what he did when he came on. Nothing, that's what. The good news of course is how we responded to going behind - I suspect if we hadn't equalised so quickly both times, we would have lost this game. If we don't win on Saturday, I don't see Jose making it into the new year

Out of all people ...You'd be better off saying you have it off a thread on Reddit by someone with inside knowledge. If anything is well documented, it's that Mourinho tried to sign Pogba at Chelsea the summer before he got sacked, with no reported interest from United, and suddenly after we hire Mourinho we go after Pogba again.

sorry mate, don't agree with that. I think Arsenal could have won it. they looked the only team that wanted to win during the last 20 mins. We seemed content with the draw. Our pace and style slowed right down with lukaku/pogba/fellaini brought on. We done pretty much nothing in that time. It was us, not arsenal, that NEEDED the win last night, but didnt even go for it. Thank god for DeGea (again).

I think alot of fans are confusing an entertaining game with a good performance.

We started well, a few mistakes on both sides that lead to goals. But eventually slipped back into the same lethargic style.

on the plus side, Bailly showing jose why he shouldnt be left out in the cold

Arsenal were dreadful last night, for all the hype, they look very average. It was a typical Arsenal at OT display. We were just equally bad at both ends.

What I’m saying it’s bad judgment by Mourinho yet again. £20m is a lot of money on a prospect, especially when he had only play 8 times in a first team and when our transfer budget was lower. He should have put the money to a first team RB. Now we have a first team RB that isn’t good enough to play and the prospect player who isn’t good enough to play, it’s a joke.

20m in 2018 is absolutely nothing on a prospect like him.

The stick Dalot was getting last night on here made me ashamed to be a Utd fan, just such a clueless and entitled bunch.

    Was he really getting stick?

I didn't visit here during the game, but I thought he did pretty well.

The only criticism really was that he allowed Kolasinac to get too many crosses in, and his delivery from crosses wasn't great.

But overall, he had a decent game I thought. I have high hopes for him.
