Why can’t we play like this more often. Heck bit of passing and movement and an intensity after the first 20 and we looked like an actual team.

Immense 2nd half. Its got to be said, the movement and fluidity without Lukaku was beautiful to watch. No more pointless hoofballs. Fascinating stuff.

Much, much better movement, passing, and nice to see the team showing some fight again. Pogba was immense.

This game was exactly what I wanted Jose to do for a few games.
Play 3 in the middle to give Pogba free-role/freedom to roam around.
Don't need to the wide wingers and all the crossing. United don't have proper wingers that can deliver good crosses anyways.

Boring first half. More of the second half please.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Brilliant win. Also good to see us comfortably seeing the game out in the final minutes rather than hanging on and defending desperately.

Needed a win and we finally got one. Small sample size but it’s not surprised me that the attack looked much more fluent without Lukaku. Posted a while back that I’m sure we would look at least as good or better with Martial on top. We’ll see how it looks for the next few games.

Shaw had another good game as well.

    Lingard continues to improve.

That’s what you get when you play Pogba further up the pitch, best player by a mile. Second half was a much better showing from everyone.

Good win & performance. Pogba excellent. 2 terrific goals. Defensively I thought they did quite well.

Need to continue playing Pogba in this more advanced role & build the team around him.

Great 2nd half. Overall the match was always under control and first half too gave impression that a good decision making is all it will take to win it given the counter opportunities we were having.

The first half wasn't much to write home about but our urgency and directness was much better in the second half and that paid off.

Captains performance from pogba tonight:devil: Mata is such a waste of a space in that team.

    Comfortable win in the end.

    Excellent second half.
Pogba excellent (I take the praise having shifted him out of my fantasy team), and great goals from Martial and Lingard.

Must admit I left the room for a min and missed the second goal, and even on a replay a while later didn't twig instantly. Whoops!

Great display after a dodgy run
