Poor performance. Our lack of control in midfield is so evident when Pogbas not there...

Still nice to see us hold out and not fold - Progress!

Crap performance but very good win.

Southampton played really well second half.

Martial should have come on for Rashford who was poor again.

    Lukaku excellent.

    3 points.

We already have wins against West Ham(H), Everton(H) and Southampton(A). All of the corresponding fixtures we drew last season.

Smash and grab. Didn't deserve to win but who gives a feck! 16 points on the board is all that matters.

A classic Jose win. De Gea didn't have a save to make? Professional job.

3 points. That’s all that matters. This happens from time to time. It just shows we’ve still got work to do. But let’s not forget we’re without our most important player.

Dreadful second half. Thank feck it's over, with three points in the bag. But we seem to be getting worse and worse with every game in the league...

What an absolute shitshow of the second half, still though, should've had a penalty and a red for that cnut Long in the first half so all in all, feck you Pawson you prick, feck you.

If this is how we respond to being put under pressure I dread our away games against Citeh and Liverpool.

    Abysmal performance.

Fecking hell that was a tough match. Decent first half but the second half was really terrible. We can't control the midfield or create chances from the middle in absence of Pogba. Also we seem to have troubles in defending corners, strangely enough.

But glad we escaped with the win here.

Abysmal 2nd half, didn't deserve the win imo but that doesn't mean it doesn't feel just as sweet to collect the 3p!

    Not a good performance.

    Ref was shite.

    Got the 3 points.

    Another clean sheet.

    Another Lukaku goal.

Job done, but work to be done.

These are the games you need to see out. We did, barely. Last season we would have conceded

Good result. Lots of people will say we played poorly but I don't think we did too much wrong. Really good stuff from Southampton they really brought it to us. Happy with that showed real character.

Awful performance, but I'll take the result. I thought for sure that Southampton were going to nick a late goal.

Not sure why we didn't try to boost the attack by bringing on Martial or Lingard, rather than just surrendering all forward impetus.

Winning pretty is a plus but winning full stop is essential. We got the job done. That's all that matters. If we end up winning the title by a point, nobody will be saying 'but they played badly in half the games.'

Will never understand why Mourinho wants to make it their attack vs our defence. I can never accept that. Defending doesn't mean having 10 defenders on does it?

    Pissed off with that.
