Aubameyang missed an open net, was offside as well but commentators gave it the silent treatment.

They suck away. If they didnt get gifted a goal and the dumb red card from Deeney then they'd almost definitely lose this IMO, but such is how these things go.

I’m so happy we offloaded Mkhitaryan, even if it was for an underwhelming Sanchez.

Any sign of Watford grabbing an equaliser?

    I switched off at half-time.

Just reading the Sky Sports feed for this. 'Success escapes Xhaka'. You don't expect such perceptive commentary from Sky.

Afro man is apparently a destined world class player and if you can't see that you don't know football. That is according to an Arsenal mate of mine.

That Arsenal are jammy as feck, but in your pursuit of whataboutery you missed that point.

Hughes ace? He should have scored at least two by now but he keeps fecking up huge chances

    Thank Jose for that.

    It's a miracle we're even in the fight for a top-four spot.

No, just someone that understands nuance. Pretty much every team has games where they get a bit lucky, but different teams have more than others. Man City are far better in their general play than Liverpool, but Liverpool are neck and neck due to so many key moments going their way late in games (plenty of goalkeeping howlers that have gifted them wins). Our general play was sub-par last season but De Gea having the season of his life gave saved us so many points. Football whataboutery is for buffoons because it is so reductionist.

Decoure should be one for us to consider going after in the summer IMO.

Arsenal really should be embarrassed of that performance.

Between this, and the way we played on Saturday, it really does underline how poor this race for the Top 4 really is.

Watford have played really well but it sort of seems like United vs Barca, Arsenal know Watford arent troubling them. Andre Gray is stealing a living as a PL footballer, his touch is worse than Lukaku.

Barely watched that game but from the bits I saw I say Arsenal would have dropped points had it been against 11 men. They really look awful away from home.

Perfect result with Spurs position now under genuine threat. Can't afford to treat the City game as collateral now.

Fully deserved at least a point tonight with 10 men. Also were without Deeney from 10th and no Pereyra or Deluofeu in 18 so missing loads of decent attackers.

Arsenal play like this on Thursday and they will lose 4-1.
