Taken out of the England U19 squad, at the moment there is confusion regarding whether it was due to an injury or if he was withdrawn by the club.

Ok, conspiracy theory time. He met up with Rio Ferdinand today, and they got into a fight over how you reply to someone over twitter. Ravel got mad because Rio isn't following him and things got violent and Rav had to withdraw from international duty to hide the bruises.

    Rodwell will sign.

Not only that, he also assaulted several people when he had dinner with the Gorrés yesterday.

Im just being silly. Putting that stupid debate over Ravel trying to reply to Rio about the question of whether he's in on monday together with the withdrawal from the England squad in the most retarded way possible for my own amusement.
If anyone gets the Rodwell reference I'll be impressed.

Morrison has some talent. But talent along doesn't guarantee success, far from it.

Home to Crystal Palace and hopefully away to Basle if we get the Champions League wrapped up next week should be opportunities for him and Pogba etc.

Both good goals. His second was a quality little finish, completely unexected the way he finished reverse back across goal. Cruised through the game in full control, didn't lose possession much apart from some flicks towards the end. Took on a few players, a few nutmegs in there too. Good performance all in all. These reserve games are far too comfortable for him.

I think everyone is just waiting for Ravel to get his break right now. He is too good for reserve level and will very likely never be given a loan with the guy being a loose cannon off the pitch.

Once he gets his chance, and inevitably takes it, his Manchester United dream will be undeniably his to lose unless there is more drama from now till then...

He was stunningly good today. Reminds me so much of Iniesta in the way that he does everything at his own pace

I get the feeling that he's ready for the first team. SAF may be worried about incorporating him into that team just yet. Problem with keeping him in the reserves now is that nobody in the reserves in central midfield is on his wavelength.

The next step for Ravel is one-touch passing. Perhaps this is why SAF hasn't bought a central midfield player - Cleverley, Anderson, Pogba, Morrison - who knows. What I do know is that SAF has always favoured one midfield player who is very industrious and one who dictates the pace of the play - so we'll see where this one goes.

He'd probably get more chances in the first team if his head was right.

Was thinking the same thing. He probably thinks that skill-wise he's ready for the first team. Physically he's ready to be training with the first team - but would his head manage against the rigours of first team training.

This guy has always been the best of his age-group. If he can't handle not being the best in this group for a while would that alone destroy him? Could he handle the training physically, or could he handle the playing against other teams etc. Is he really ready for Central Midfield (I see him as a number 10).

I don't know. What I do know is that he's at the right club with the right manager and I trust SAF has got it figured!

Looked that way today. I mean, his goals were fecking class and he's so comfortable on the ball, but a lot of the time he was overcomplicating things (with flicks and by dallying instead of going for the kill in good positions). I have a feeling he would have been more direct against better opposition.

Is this from the same source that said Nani would be at Inter this season?

Stop WUMMING. It's not big and it's definitely not clever.

This happens constantly. Any time Morrison's name is mentioned, certain people pop up to question his mental state when, in fact, they know precisely nothing about it.

Well TBH he and us are going to have to live with it for sometime to come.Speculation and comments already arise from the media.I cringed when it was brought up by the summariser at the last CC game. Was wondering if they're ever going to shut up about it then realised that they aren't ever really...sad but that's the world we live in

You're both right in what you say, just really annoys me when our fans join in. To the best of my knowledge all the recent feedback from within the club has been v. positive but of course that gets feck all exposure!

Tbh it wouldn't surprise me if he made the bench tomorrow. I'm not sure who's available for the game, but if I were planning on giving Morrison a run out then a team like Swansea would be an option because they'll probably try and play football instead of kicking him off the park.

We do not know on the other hand, he pulled of some stunts that cant be good for his career. He's a bit mental and what reason is there that he is not in the first team? Its clearly not his talent.

I am not the one who speculates or bashes our players, but he's such an unique talent, that he should be in the first team if it werent for his problems off the pitch. Even members of United said things in that direction
