Oh he'll dive, while celebrating his second or third goal of the night at OT. I hope Man Utd's players underestimate him as much as you do.

Entire crowd should yell who once the announcer reads his name out.

Hard to get emotional for someone that was barely here, never mind someone that did not want to be here.

I don't want to remember di Maria. His start was so good, i thought we would be on the way up and he would be our main man. The goal vs. Leicester (the game we lost 5-3...) was one of the best goals i remember post Fergie

Think he should get a decent welcome. He started of fantastically in central midfield, then for some reason Van Gall moved him out wide? Of course he didnt settle, it happens. At the end of the day he was a flop, hardly deserves a red carpet of course but I hope the fans are classy enough to give him a decent reception being all be it briefly a United player

They should throw rubber snakes onto the pitch.

I'd boo him for the first few minutes and stop caring. It'd mirror his final game for us when we were away to Hull. The guy stunk the place out for 15 minutes, decided he'd had enough and walked off the pitch when he barely got touched. He'd had enough and we'd had enough of him. What a waste of time he was.

Can you use it in a sentence?
He should be given a particularly tall, grimacing child to walk onto the pitch with. That could really scare and unsettle him.

I'd honestly forgot he played for us, the odd boo no doubt. But the vast majority will just ignore the rat.

We should attempt to break in to his hotel room the night before, that'll garauntee a terrible performance from him. Shithouse.

Just put some scaffolding outside his window, if its windy and hits against the glass he'll flee to France again before the game. It would be unreasonable to stay after that.

Weird one, started well then absolutly bottled it and i’ll Never forget when he came on was terrible misplacing simple 5 yard passes like he was trying to do it then just sat down and had to be taken off. Think he would have done well in the 2nd season if he had stuck around but as for his reception he became a bit of a nothing player so I imagine no one will really care. Does he even get in the PSG team that much?

He never turned up when he played for United so let's hope the same when he returns with PSG.

Only player I’ve ever seen be so obvious that he didn’t give a feck about the club he was playing for. A disgusting bag of shit of a player.

He will be booed and rightly so. He was not loyal to Manchester United - didn't even come back for training in pre-season and didn't even try to adjust. It was clear he wanted PSG but chose United as a stop gap.

I’d boo. For all LvG did wrong I thought he treated Di Maria very well. I remember him saying he gave him days off training when he needed it (“these are human beings”) after the burglary and Di Maria couldn’t even be bothered to give his all for a manager who did a lot for him.

Although I personally don't have anything against him, he strikes me as the sort of player that if the crowd gave him a hard time it would have a negative impact on his performance.

Annoyed me just about every sec he was on the pitch for us. His style of play didn't suit the PL and instead he tried to make up for it by continously trying to draw fouls (and embarrassingly not get the call a lot of times) - unfortunately that style does seem to work with the refs in Europe so he ll probably have a baller game against us and we ll dislike him even more.

Do we even have to acknowledge his existence? No one will even remember he played for us in a couple of seasons.

I agree. get Phil Neville out of retirement and give him the Reyes treatment for five minutes and he'll probably be asked to be subbed.

He's an opposition player, he didn't really want to be at United, should get double booing for leaving the club just cause his house got burgled.

Good player who's great fun to watch, but seems rather weak mentally. Not as a human being, but for a top footballer. I'm guessing an indifferent reception. He wasn't right for us, but neither did he wrong us in any particular way.
