I know it’s been a while since his Borat and Ali G days, but how can he not be recognized by like 90% of the population?

I want it to be good but I reckon it will be crap. He’s been in a steady decline since Ali G and has involved in some absolute stinkers in recent years. Be a hell of turnaround if he comes up with something of real quality.

That and Ali G are the only things he's done that I find mildly tolerable. His brand of humour's not for me, I guess.

She would probably be fooled by the Lisa Ann porn parody of her.

Bruno is one of the funniest films i have watched. I loved Borat and Ali G. Sure he has sold out on some horrendous films (Dictator, Grimsby Brothers) but i can’t wait for this.

Do they need permissions to show the people in the show?

Never liked Bruno as much as Borat or Ali G (actually preferred the latter). Ali G in Northern Ireland still cracks me up. Getting the feeling this upcoming show will be more in that vein than then Will Ferrell-esque films he's been trying to do for the past few years.

He's probably shooting this in midwest and south of America. They wouldn't recognize him even if he dressed up as Borat. They also shoot a ton of footage and censor the stuff they don't find interesting for their shock comedy genre.

Some of his films have been awful, but even in the rubbish ones there are some great moments. Nothing touches the Borat/Ali G formula though. This is going to be immense.

He'd be bored rigid, mate. And, in many ways, they're beyond satire.

The jokes are so lame! Bone spur in his testies. Cringe. I dunno. Might be just me being so over Sasha Baron Cohen but I don’t find any of that funny at all.

"You used to hunt the the most dangerous animals in the country like wolves and people on welfare". That was funny.

Also the name with the PhD at the end is a mockery of right wing intellectual types on twitter. There's more depth to it than the testes joke.
