9 goals already in 5 games. On course for a 40+ season?

That hat-trick goal should have been disallowed for offside

Injuries may slow him down as they usually do. Scary player though.

If he stays fit he'll hit 30 comfortably.

First half would have been a lot different if he played. And by different i mean way worse.

30 in the league or 30 in all? The latter would be very disappointing (well not for United fans..) imo.

I did, my opinion wasn't well received  But when fit I'm certain no striker in the league gets close to Aguero.

That's really a long way to go.

But he's deadly, that's for sure.

What difference would it have made, we lost and his replacement scored the key 2nd goal

Only behind Suarez in the world I reckon. The only thing Lewandowski has over him is a better fitness record.

A 2/1 defeat is not as traumatising and a psychological blow as a heavy defeat. With Ag├╝ero, they really could have scored more than twice in that first half as well as those counters at the end.

He's quality and I find him annoyingly likeable. The little scamp.

Next to Ronaldinho probably the player I most regret we missed out on. Even more bitter that he is playing for City.

Well you can never be sure but there was paper talk at the time that we were interested. Then again if we go by that we were pretty much interested in any footballer in the history of football so maybe we weren't but that wouldn't make it better.

Will inevitably face a spell on the sidelines at some point in the season but when he's fit and on form there's only one forward in the world better (Suarez).

Lewandowski is probably on par. I don't see Higuain enough outside of the CL games and I'd have Aguero over Benzema.

Seriously you think Higuain and Benzema are all better? Lewandowski I get the argument for but the others... Not even in Aguero's league!

    Only Lewa is comparable.

Costa is not on Aguero's level. I don't think Higuain is either.

Higuain and Benz aren't anywhere near this guy. If he stays fit, they win the prem quite comfortably imo. It's as simple as that.

According to some, he was City's fallback option when Alexis Sanchez left Udinese for Barca.
Caught a break there, I reckon.

always hits these purple patches of form where peple start to talk about him being the best 9 in the world, then no one ever mentions anything when he then goes and scores 2 in his next 8, both in a home game where they win 5-0 anyway. And out of all of Argentina's disappointing (Messi aside) attacking players he's usually the worst of the lot. But I think Guardiola can take his game up a level and he's certainly showing it so far, will be interesting to see if he can keep it up.
