City will find a way to feck up.
Me too. Slight chance.
no way...its gone tonight...no doubt
City won't throw this away now. Newcastle just lost at Wigan and will go on and lose at The Bridge day after and probably vs City as well.
We're relying on O'Shea, Brown, Bardsley and co to do us a massive favour on the final day and lose by 15 odd goals
I'll bump this thread when we lift the trophy.
I am not overly confident that we will win our next two games. I can see us dropping points.
always that faint hope that Newcastle do em in, but tbh I think we should be more concerned that we feck up in our last games and don't even have the same points.
So Saliph, you going to pass that joint around or what?
even if they draw to Newcastle, which i doubt will happen. We'll end up dropping points to Sunderland.
Frankly I don't even see us getting 3 points against Swansea. We looked horrible today. A flat a performance as i've ever seen.
I just cant see City getting three points next weekend. Newcastle are playing for their CL lives and will be up for it at home, especially after getting embarrassed on Saturday.
Newcastle away is a tough fixture. I won't lie and say it's definitely done, or try and jinx it by saying there's no way they can drop points, because I will be watching the Newcastle game and hoping they can get something out of it.
The way we are playing we'll struggle to draw our last two let alone win
Nope, it's gone.
I thought Newcastle might do something but I'm kind of lost hope after they lost 4-0 to Wigan when chasing 3rd place. City will play the same game against Newcastle as they did tonight. We couldn't do shit to stop them, Newcastle won't either. Not unless they get a lucky break from a referee mistake.
You'll smash 4 or 5 past Swansea and close down the gd. But city will beat Newcastle imo.
Me neither. They do have a tough game beforehand though against Chelsea to deal with. Chelsea and Newcastle play each other in midweek while City will have the whole week to rest before they play Newcastle so it will be tough.
Gunning for this years "top red" award eh?
It's over. Just like we all hoped for Liverpool against Chelsea two years ago, they were not even close. man c will know it's theirs now.
we wont'...come on....just let it go. I've been around long enough to know that
I'm sort of with you.
Historically City have a knack of ballsing things up at the last minute.
Let's hope they do.
It's all on that Newcastle game and its fecking Newcastle, who actually thinks they will do anything when the chips are down?
what I hate is finally it is out of our hands.
but I agree we are not done yet.
Can't see it
We'll draw against Sunderland on the last day, anyway
No way...it's over.
They'll go into the Newcastle game with their tales up, much as would have done against Swansea.
I hope Newcastle can do us a favour but it is unlikely.
The other option is to score 20 in our next two games.
I am glad that they still have to travel to; The Sports James's Ashley Arena.
Newcastle will be well up for the game and luckily for us - still have a hell-of-a-lot to play for. I amen't all that convinced that they will get all 3 points.
This shit. Don't engender false hope, cnuts.
Definitely not... anybody who thinks Newcastle will do anything but roll over and have their tummies tickled is pretty thick, quite frankly.
They're playing for a Champions League place FFS, it's the worst possible situation.
Just win our last two games, and we'll see.
Que sera sera.
More likely than Newcastle beating City.
Man City play before you do, if they don't win that will be all of the ammunition you'll need at home to a promoted side and away to Sunderland who have fallen apart somewhat recently.
