England v The Rest of the World next weekend for Unicef.

Drogba, Cantona, Roberto Carlos & Usian Bolt v Jamie Redknapp, Michael Owen , Ben Sheppard & Susanna Reid.

Proud Irishman Piers Morgan is playing for The Rest of the World.

    These things are usually fun.

Watch this every year, love seeing some celebrity playing really well or the likes of Jaap Stam not going in soft.
Think it was Mark Wright who surprised me last year

Is Jonathan Wilks playing? It's the only thing he's known for besides being friends with Robbie Williams

I remember one year Craig David barged Stam into the middle of Oblivion

Didn’t Boris Johnson rugby tackle someone once? Or was that something else? Piss funny either way.

It was him. He lost his balance and wrecked some poor bastard. A premonition of his future political career.

Was amazing when someone got death threats for 2-footing a One Direction member.

My favourite moment of soccer aid was during the first one with Jamie Theakston on at half time in goal and ROW got a penalty, Clive Tyldesley really layed out in blunt terms the surreal nature of the event "Diego Maradona vs Jamie Theakston".

I'm not sure why the venue's been changed, maybe the sheer amount of 00's Chelsea players taking part triggered the change, or they're moving venue's year by year to freshen it up, or it's a one off due to something else going on in Manchester, haven't seeked out the real reason.

Afraid that’s out of bounds to me too. I live in Ireland, where ITVplayer doesn’t work and Sky - for some strange reason - don’t broadcast ITV.

I seem to recall someone who one xfactor (or something like that) was decent-ish last year?

One of the lads from One Direction used to be a professional footballer and there’s a member of Boyzone who was on the books at Leeds (I think?) as a goalkeeper.

The best celebrity goal I’ve ever seen was scored by the most unlikely looking footballer you could imagine. The tall, skinny one from Kasabian.

Serge from Kasabian is good but I don't think he's done it the last couple of years.

He also scored that famous Soccer AM goal back in the day.

It's usually good fun until someone like Seedorf comes on who despite his age is still fit enough to play and just makes a mockery of it!

it'll probably be uploaded to football replay sites, too. If I come across it after it's done do you want me to send you a link?

If you are lucky, you may be able to receive it as "UTV" or "ITV Cymru Wales" but yeah, reading into it, it sounds pretty silly. I even saw a TV listing for Sky and you guys supposedly have ITV2, ITV3 etc but not the main one :D

    Only in the loosest way.
One of them "signed" for Doncaster as a pr stunt and they sold loads of tickets for his one game in the reserves!

It’s mental. As a Sky customer in Ireland I can manually program it into my set top box, so can watch ITV HD “live” but can’t pause/rewind or record it. So annoying. Thankfully 99% of ITV content is utter garbage.
