I couldn't care less (no offense meant - felt like this for years).

It's just a BBC back slapping jizz fest.

    Not watching.

AJ will win it in a landslide. Second and third will be interesting though, Froome and Hamilton presumably out of the running so it could be anyone really.

Definitely won't be a landslide. Hamilton is in with a great shout, became the most successful Brit in F1 history this year.

Hasn't Froome just failed a drugs test?

Froome isn’t winning even if he didn’t fail a drugs test. He just isn’t popular with the public.

I assume they can’t do much until it’s been through all the appeals, he’s not actually guilty of cheating yet and all that.

Deserves to be after the year he's had but you just know the average SPOTY voter will be thinking about the taxes.

    Should be Hamilton I think.

It'll be Joshua though. His nice guy act probably appeals to the public.

Maybe. He was a total shite in his youth, but not uncommon I suppose.

Everybody grows up, but it always comes across as a bit fake.

I hear it a lot but I’m not convinced. The weird thing about him is that he still lives with his mum in a council flat.

Surely the number one requirement for winning Sports Personality of the Year is actually having one.

So Froome's out of the running.

I voted for him even though he didn't deserve it this year, I think he deserves one for the career he has had. Kind of like the Oscars giving DiCaprio an Acadamy Award for The Revenant or Scorsese one for The Departed.
