Bite AC's hand off for that. Swap with Ronaldinho plus a couple of mil coming our way??

Not a bad move for Arsenal. Wouldn't actually doubt this one.

If Spurs sings all that players:

    - Huntelaar
    - G.Cahill
    - Parker
    - Pienaar

They can become a new important side for the 2nd, 3rd place

Huntelaar isn't all that good and although he'd be an improvement on Pavlyuchenko, he wouldn't really take them that much forward. I'd say Defoe and Crouch would be ahead of him.

Cahill is a very good defender but you just cannot forget that he was released by Aston Villa a couple of years ago because he wasn't good enough. He's better than Dawson but I don't think he's better than King or Woodgate.

Parker wouldn't even be a regular there with Palacios and Modric around, and he hasn't exactly been top class during his career anyway. The best I remember him was at Charlton and this was ages ago.

Pienaar isn't better than Kranjcar and would probably be a fringe player there, though he's certainly good.

They would all improve Spurs squad but they wouldn't improve their first team much.

Caughtoffside talk bollocks, Fergie has unequivocally said that he isn't selling Berbatov.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I find it amusing that we live in an age now where "I stay" and "I'm not selling the lad" pretty much fuels the he's fecking off fire.

Well we're not exactly going to come out and say, we're going to feck him off. That just brings down the price. Makes it look like Fergie thinks he's worthwhile even though he knows he's turned into an average squad player at best. The fact is, through a reliable source 'he posts on here' that Fergie has had enough and feels that neither he or Carrick can offer much more to United and that they're being offered around Europe and England. Hence the rumors of a Silva swap deal with Carrick and/or Berbatov.

Manchester City will offer England midfielder Joe Cole a £110,000-a-week deal and pay £3m in agents' fees, but even that might not entice the former Chelsea man, with Arsenal and Tottenham both keen on the 28-year-old. (Sunday Express)

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp wants to bring Atletico Madrid's Uruguayan striker Diego Forlan to White Hart Lane.

But Spurs could miss out on Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar, who will be offered a new deal that would make him the highest-paid player at Goodison Park. The 28-year-old has been offered a four-year, £55,000-a-week deal by Toffees boss David Moyes.
    Full story: Sunday Mirror

West Ham midfielder Scott Parker will stay at Upton Park as he has been impressed by new manager Avram Grant's plans for the club. The 29-year-old, who made England's initial 30-man World Cup squad, is also looking forward to teaming up with new signing Thomas Hitzlsperger.

Bolton are set to sign £1m-rated 21-year-old Everton striker James Vaughan.
Full story: News of the World

New Portsmouth manager Steve Cotterill will make centre-back Steven Caldwell his first signing. Caldwell, 29, was released by Burnley last month following the Claret's relegation from the Premier League. (News of the World)

Vladimir Weiss is wanted by promoted Newcastle, Chris Hughton being confident he can sign the 20-year-old winger on a loan deal from Manchester City. (News of the World)

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is keen to sign Manchester City midfielder Stephen Ireland, despite the 23-year-old being only a bit-part player at Eastlands at the end of last season.
