Stuff like this just isn't surprising anymore.

    Hopefully there are no casualties.

I wonder if this is one of those talking points the Trump Admin were after.

Politics aside for the moment though, I hope casualties are kept to a minimum and the family and friends of our Florida residents on here are safe :(

It's not, there have been almost 200 mass shootings (4+ shot or wounded) so far this year, news organisations have made a cynical (and dangerous) decision to give most of the attention to school shootings.

a republican congressional basketball game was shot at and they didn't give a shit, it's not even a case of "they'll change their mind when it's real to them"

Fox News just had a fella on claiming that the shooter is an ex student....said he was 20/21. He was cut off pretty quickly after that and Shep gave out the disclaimers.

Well Donnie didn't say it was a great country, he just said he s gonna make it great again. Hopefully just a few more shootings and he'll turn his attention to the problem and fix things. /s

feck this shit truly. You shouldn't have to be afraid to send you kids to any school because they might get shot.

Surely disseminating footage provided by someone in a school during a shooting is more noble that gossiping about it online?

Just news of the day, nothing will change. If bump stocks are still on open sale after Vegas there is very little that will change the gun debate in the US.

Yeah. Sandy Hook was the final straw for me. Seeing a shooting doesn't stir anything up anymore.

Nope. At some point it becomes routine and apathy sets in. That is very sad because without public outrage nothing will ever happen.

Horrible news yet again. If only there had been a good guy with a gun who wasn’t afraid and capable of killing another human. Or something. Americans are insane

they're not that insane, even the majority of gun owners want stricter gun laws

it's the political culture and blatant corruption that is responsible for this
